  1. BTW. . .in case you did not know, your Russian PG stock is illegal in a federal BATF sense unless you somehow added enough US parts to reduce the imoprted number--form the BATF list--to no more than ten. So, get that thing off ASAP, buddy.

  3. Bro. . .make one, or have one made that is MUCH better than any one you can find on the web or any shop. Check out my "tri-rail" model and my "uni-rail" model. It's really better than buying one with one half-assed bottom rail that the lights will slide off of with the recoil. I bought the Russian one with one botom rail and the light jumped the rail stops when I shot the damned thing. PM me for instructions. The following is a newer pic after I drilled out the rail holes for cooling and lightening:
  4. I guess the "RULES" regarding speaking the forbidden "for sale" words without first being a paying member are still in effect??
  5. I don't see how this would be possible. Dude. . .I am confused also. Class III stuff is not a DD. . .until it is declared a DD, that is. . .otherwise it's simply Class III. So, WTF??? Does this guy even know of what he speaks? He claims to be in business, but. . .if so, why the bent understanding of the relevant laws. . .laws that he would have to know in order to BE in business. . .hmmmmm.
  6. Cobra. . .I am not on the forum on a daily basis, so, I am unaware that/if there are diferent levels of payola for various levels of commercialism on the forum. PM me with the "list" or whatever it is, bro. Thanks, dude.
  7. As long as the shot load is 1 oz. or heavier (e.g. 1 1/8 oz.) they will be just dandy for knocking down steel poppers and plates. Lighter loads (i.e., 7/8 oz. "super speed trap loads) will not cycle the action.
  8. First. . .Only M1-Garands have a "clip." All other high cap sporter rifles and pistols have "magazines (mags)." Also. . .if Saiga made a double-stack, high cap MAG for the gun, it would not be importable under the fabulous (worst anti-gun legislation in US history) Pappa Bush, 1989 mil-type gun TOTAL import BAN, which was not an act of a Democratic congress. . .but it flowed from the pen of G. Bush Sr. and his own excuse for a brain in the form of an Executive Order!!! (again, NOT an act of congress). So. . .No. There ARE NO factory high-cap MAGS for the S-.223. I have MODIFIED many 5
  9. My new Quad-rail forend on my new Russian AK-101 clone ( Saiga- 5.56 mm /.223). I still am waiting for my OD green low-profile, "ladder-type" rail covers, but here she is with two different digital cam settings (one obviously warmer and one colder in terms of color). Enjoy the gun-porn!!

  11. First, although the vertical grip looks good and you may find it convenient, you should consider trying not to use one (I know -- I have one on my AK!) Two reasons: 1) The front of the mag makes a very convenient grip and provides a better balance point. 2) If you pick an AK up off the ground, odds are it won't have a vertical grip. If you rely on one for shooting, you may be in trouble. Second, vertical foregrips have absolutely no bearing on parts count for 922R compliance. Pistol grips do, but as an attachment the foregrip does not count as part of the forend. )The origin of the fore
  12. 1) ACE will not wbble or cave. They ARE truly a serious professional piece of EQ. I DO, however, recommend using Loctite blue on the screws to eliminate screws backing off due to vibration. 2) Internal necessitates you sawing off your tang. If you decide to use another stock in the future, you are screwed. I don't believe in removong things--burning bridges. I use the standard receiver block and I left fold, so the stock (doesn't matter if Galil-style or six position) will rest on the left clamped mag [clamped mags are highly recommended] and simply fall farther closed under the sprin

  15. +1, I lived there for about thirty years. I'm in Florida right now. Stay in Florida! NYS hates guns. The laws are better upstate in the Buffalo area, but they're still pretty bad. Buffalo is an economic wasteland going downhill fast. THat's the deal. IF I take the deal, I will be in the Upstate area. I am a lawyer ad a buddy is in a skyrocketing estate planning firm of his own creation. He WANTS me badly. . .but, I am VERY hesitant. I love it here in GUN FRIENDLY FL!! I carry here. . .I am on the BOD of onew of the largest and most significant IDPA clubs in the entire SE. MUch t
  16. I DON'T!!! I grew up in NYC. I "retired" to FL in '76. I am just thinking about a VERY sweet gig. . .just THINKING, mind you! I LOVE my new 20, and have since '76.
  17. Thanks much guy. But. . .is that NYC? Or NY State?
  18. That's great! I'd like to campaign a Saiga 223 in some matches but it's been years since I had enough ammo on hand to get my game anywhere near good enough for action shooting. So what were the stages like? Start re-loading .223, my friend. I have had to. Stages. . .well, IPSC rifle and shotty (by the way, I also kicked butt with my S-12 flying through 26 steels in five or six arrays in 41 seconds. I had two brain farts and one shell that got stuck/ hung-up in the extractor groove, but was fixed by a quick thumb press of the shell downwards. I should have done it in 35 to 36 seco
  19. Here's my new S-.223 that I recently ran at several IPSC and 3-gun matches. She's the one in the middle, or alone in the pics. I have a quad rail forend coming any day now. Until then, the US replica for the AK-101 forend has been doing the trick.
  20. I can fix them for you. PM me.
  21. Gents: I have had a SWEET employment offer to make me consider tearing myself out of my super-sweet GUN-COMFORTABLE/GENEROUS home here in good-ole' SUPER-gun-friendly FL. Does anyone know the laws, or more accurately, can anyone direct me to a gov. site that will answer all my dreaded gun, high cap rifle / shotty / pistol law questions for the Buffalo N.Y. / surounding areas??? I have been to the standard NY gov sites with no real answers about high cap rifle, pistol and shotty (box mag) in the Erie County area. Thanks so much, guys.
