  1. Wanna sell the old stock? Is the limbsaver an available add-on or is it a now or never? I'm gonna use the stock for a dedicated .22LR AR-15 or for one of my AKs. I think you can order the stock with the Limbsaver installed.
  2. I have both the Tromix (without Limbsaver pad) and the ACE side folding stock with 1" recoil pad. I purchased the Tromix stock first but it was uncomfortable for me. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice stock and I love Tromix products. I couldn't get a proper cheek weld with the tromix. It was too squared off for me and it didn't give me proper sight alignment with the factory sights on my S12. When I would shoulder it, the front sight would always be raised high and I would have to press my cheek on to the squared off corner of the stock. I decided to purchase an ACE stock with a 1" recoil pad an

    Tac Light

If you already have a Surefire G2 or 6P light, you can purchase an aftermarket lamp assembly that gives you 256 lumens of blinding white light from TNVC (Tactical Night Vision Company). If you don't have one yet, you can purchase the light with the upgraded lamp assembly installed by them. They also have multi-function tailcap switches for the various models of Surefire flashlights. Here's a linky: TNVC
  4. Yes, you've identified a couple of things that I'd like there too. I count a sling as essential. If I'm having to hike it somewhere, I don't want carry the gun in my hand the whole way. Very practical. And yes, I'm eying the Chaos tri- and quad with envy, mostly because it looks ferocious, and that counts for something when you're offering someone some extra incentive to leave you be. I hadn't given much thought to the tac light, but that's because I hadn't thought much about firing on an intruder in the dark, which is worth considering. Let me ask this, since I'm not much in the know:

    My new S12

Winchester Super X birdshot also run flawless in my S12. So far I have put about 550 rounds of some birdshot and about 50 rounds of mixed 00, 000 buckshot, 2.75" and 3" slugs through her and never had a single failure. The only feeding problem I had was when I tried to bump-fire her. Then again, mine is not converted yet. I just have the ACE side-folding stock for non-converted S12s. But I agree, it's still a fun gun to shoot. On two occasions, I brought a group of friends to the range who don't really own guns, yet alone shoot that often. Out of all the guns (AKs, ARs, HKs) I brought to the r
  6. Does the TROMIX trigger guard have the extended rear plate that covers the old trigger hole under the receiver towards the rear? I believe Saigatech has that. Just wondering if the TROMIX does.
  7. I have owned both the Mossberg 500 and 590 years ago. I had problems shooting 3" magnum loads in both of them. Sometimes the action would freeze up on me and it's not because im short stroking the pump. I had to get rid of them. I then purchased my first Remington 870 Police Magnum and all I can say is that it is the smoothest of all the pump shotguns I have shot. I liked it so much that I ended up buying a 2nd Police Magnum because of a good deal. And yes, you can take off the barrel in less then 10 seconds with no tools. So my personal advice to you if you plan to get a pump, get a Remington
  8. I had a Tromix stock on my S-12 before. I will admit it looks nice but the factory plastic recoil pad doesnt feel that great if you plan on shooting slugs. Plus the cheek weld is too squared off for me and doesnt give me proper sight allignment with the factory sights...no offense to Tromix. I ended up getting an ACE with the 1" recoil pad and thats the best stock I've had for a shotgun. Especially if you're shooting 2.75" or 3" slugs. No bruises and very comfortable. I have the ACE side folder and receiver block for un-converted Saigas installed on my S-12. I'll admit that the receiver block
  9. Yeah, I e-mailed them yesterday afternoon (Guam time) and I just checked my e-mail this morning...nothing! Zero! At least I have one already in stock configuration but I want a new one so I can convert my old one in case I screw it up. One would be converted tacticool style with ACE folding stock and the other would be converted AKS-12 style with wood furniture. Just gotta keep lookin'.
  10. I have the factory non-adjustable, rear u notch and front bead sights. I dont have my S12 pistol grip converted yet. Im using an ACE receiver block with a modified Tapco Saw grip and folding mechanism provided by them (ACE) for non-converted Saigas.
  11. So Nalioth, on the Classic ERGO is the the trigger reach comfortable. I doesn't look like there's much height difference between the adapted model and the Classic ERGO. I like my SAW grip shape and size, I just don't like the hard plastic feel of it. You have to use the one that looks like this... http://www.ergogrips.net/item-detail.cfm?I...FTOKEN=64534541 I had the ergo grip with the AR/AK adapter for my Romanian WASR-10 that Falcon Ind sent me. It didnt fit. So I had them replace it with the AK New Model Grip on the link. Make sure it looks exactly like the one in the pictu
  12. I have a Tromix stock. I recently replaced it with an Ace because the Tromix wasnt giving me a proper cheek weld. When I had the Tromix on my S12, the sights wouldnt properly align. The front sight would always aim high. I would have to press my cheek on to that squared off stock just to get a proper alignment. Didnt feel good shooting slugs. The Tromix did have a better look though. For comfort, I would go for the Ace. Plus you can change the recoil pads between .50" to 1".

    922R Compliant???

I have a non-converted, non-threaded S12. If I put an ACE (Tapco) Saw pistol grip with folding stock for a non-converted S12, would I be 922R compliant? I also have an AGP 10 round mag. How many U.S. parts do I need to add if I have the Tapco pistol grip and AGP 10 round mag on it? Also, what would be the best parts for the money to add on?
  14. That's pretty quick on a closed bolt with a 10 round mag. Gotta try that out.
  15. I tried to bumpfire my un-converted S-12 on two different occasions and only the first round would fire. I've done it before with my M90 Yugo AK and my HK91 with a lot of success just for the hell of it. I have a blackjack buffer installed in my S-12. Do you guys think it could be the reason why I'm only getting off one round at a time? Should I take the buffer out? I was using Winchester Super X birdshot at the time. Would bumpfiring only work with heavy loads? Just out of curiosity. Thanks fellas.

    Factory Mags

I bought 3 of the 5rd mags that are made in Taiwan. They all run flawless for the price. Got them from keepshooting.com.

    Cobra 12-K Style HG

Looks great! I want one. PM sent.
  18. I just received my SAW pistol grip with receiver block for my unconverted S12 from ACE Ltd. They had 2 options when I ordered. Sling swivel or Uncle Mikes quick detachable push button sling swivel attachment for the receiver block. I got the Uncle Mikes quick detachable. I believe you have that option for the side folding adapter as well if you order from them. I've seen one picture in the pic gallery that had it fitted into the left side of the reciever.
  19. Thats what I've been looking for also. Something I can add a quick detachable flashlight to without having to mount it on the barrel. Anybody know?
  20. I bought 3 and they seem fine. It is a tight fit when they're brand new but once you keep playing with them and break them in, they'll lock into place easily. They're good and cheap to use so you can save on the wear and tear of your original mags or your 10 rounders.

    Tromix Stock?

Hey guys, I have a unconverted Saiga 12. I have the saw grip with receiver block from Ace for unconverted Saigas. I want to purchase a Tromix stock and a push button side folding adapter from Ace. Does anyone know what the total length of pull would be from the trigger to the end of the recoil pad? Or should I go with an Ace original stock because you can purchase them in different lengths? Any pros and cons? Thanks guys
  22. How's it going guys? I'm new to the forum and i am also the proud owner of my first Saiga-12 (unconverted). I was wondering if anyone has the measurements for the tromix stock? I need the measurements from the base where it attaches to the receiver/receiver block, to the end of the buttstock with or with out the recoil pad. I am looking at purchasing the ACE receiver block with saw pistol grip and either an ACE buttstock or Tromix buttstock. Just trying to determine the length of pull thats comfortable for me. Would really appreciate it. Thanks guys.
