Can't comment on legalities, but I like the idea. Maybe you could mock up a couple concept pics? Regards, Sapper -

+1 for the Corps. My contribution to the party (and my favorite breakfast): USMC Recipe for "Shit on a Shingle" Serves 8 (or two hungry Marines) 1/2 lb. Ground Beef (ground chuck for flavor) 1 tbsp. Bacon fat (lard/Crisco or butter) 3 tbsp. Flour 2 cups whole milk (add more milk if you want it thinner) 1/8 tsp. Salt Pepper (to taste) 8 slices of dry toast Using a large skillet (12"-14"), crumble and brown the ground beef with the fat and salt, remove the pan from the heat and let cool slightly. Mix in the flour until all of the meat is covered, using all -

Not what you're looking for, but still pretty cool. Available online from Walmart. People gave it pretty good reviews ($600). Regards, Sapper +1 johnnyeastside! -

lito820, I like this one. It doesn't come with a lock, but it shouldn't be too hard to mod some way to secure it for when you're not home. You can get it at Sportsman's Guide for about $80. Regards, Sapper -
It seems Vartan Barsoumian is quite the politician himself. Pity... Regards, Sapper

JA, Thanks for posting! I'd love to see those pics (I haven't had any problems posting from Facebook in the past -- maybe try again?). Did the bit do any damage to the gas block? Regards, Sapper

WOW!!! Do you have any closeup or individual shots of your favorites that you'd be willing to post? Regards, Sapper -
This is by far the baddest S-12 ever! Congrats on creating something most of us can only dream about. Seriously though, is this something you offer as a business service? If so, how do I get on the list? If not, you should be banned from ever posting here again It's just not fair to those of us with little or no talent!!! Regards, Sapper

EnzNow, Thanks for the links, and those pics are great! I can see what you mean about the firearms community here. My wife was temporarily surprised at a red light by a motorcyclist wearing a Glock 26/27 on his hip. I had to remind her that we were in Free America now, and she should get used to it. We had open-carry in Pennsylvania but very few of us actually did. K.T., Be thankful you are south of the raping and pillaging. Bradford County (NEPA) was scheduled for 10,000 wells on 10,000 drill pads. The county commissioners "protected" their constituents by restricting the gas indu -

Thanks PA! I do feel liberated. As well as a rash of Blue State madness, Pennsylvania is suffering from the Marcellus Shale plague (out-of-control natural gas industry development). It's not the state I grew up in, and I feel thankful to have gotten out when I did. Regards, Sapper -

Greg, Thanks for the info. I'm a big believer in leaving the area cleaner than it was before I arrived too. Are there any rules about open desert shooting? I'm assuming it has to be outside city limits, on public land, so far from an established roadway, etc. Anyone have any details or specifics? Thanks, Sapper -
Greetings all, I'm celebrating my first week in the great state of Arizona today after too many years in the People's Socialist Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. While the gun laws there weren't too oppressive, people here seem to have a little more regard for personal freedom. I'm loving it! Anyway, I'd love to hear any advice or suggestions from our AZ members or those familiar with the ins-and-outs of the firearms scene here. I've researched the statutes pretty extensively, but I've often found personal experiences and anecdotes to be more valuable. I'm specifically interested in CCW is

Oldest Gun You Own

Model 1842 (made in 1848) smooth-bore, .50-caliber, cap-percussion musket made by Springfield Armory that was (according to family legend) carried by my great-great-great uncle Frank Sperry in one of the PA regiments during the Civil War. Seems to be in operating condition, but the entire gun is coated in creosote from hanging over the family fireplace for 150 years. Now that it's come to me I'd like to have it professionally cleaned and officially documented. We've got a few of Frank's service documents and an old photo of him with a gun that looks like this musket, but I'd love to kn -
I traded a case of '90's era MREs to some Dutch marines in Bosnia-Herzegovina for five cases of French rations. I thought I was taking advantage of them until I tried to eat the French stuff. Those crazy Dutchmen probably laughed all the way back to their camp, because the French crap made our Omelet with Ham taste like a gourmet meal. I remember liver paste, some sort of stuffed ham abortion and cheese that the ants wouldn't touch. I traded the rest of them to a bunch of Seabees who were helping us clear minefields. I haven't tasted the latest variations, but I used to love my '90's MREs!

You need another rifle for this to work, but its cool factor is off the charts... "This is a commercially available kit that converts 2 off the shelf Ruger 22 caliber rifles to a crank operated gun. This is not a true Gatling gun and is not a Class III weapon (machine gun) but is capable of a high rate of fire. This can be legally owned by anyone that can legally own a rifle. Capacity is only limited by magazine size, generally 50 rounds each side. After the 1994 AWB expired in 2004 high capacity magazines became generally available cheap. Cost of the kit is about $400 and add the
