I think they've peaked because everyone has bought their arsenals for the most part. 6 to 8 months was plenty of time for every Tom Dick and Harry to go out and arm themselves. I don't think ammo will be so quick to rebound, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of new gun owners. They may have their guns but who can ever have enough ammo. Hope it gets better soon.

I'll go to town on it with the dremel this weekend and try and get it all the way on there. Really like the stock for the 308 so going to make it work one way or another.

Even without the trigger guard it would not go on all the way. Plus the way it is now, the hole for the pistol grip lined up just right. If I had it sitting a quarter inch further up, it wouldn't line up with the pistrol grip nut at all.

Just waiting on new FSB and getting that put on, and eventual refinishing.

Here are some pics, had more close ups but were a little out of focus. Should be able to see the gap, and my new screw position... Welded a new trigger guard on, stopped it right at the hole for the pistol grip nut. Had to take a tiny bit of material off the inside of the stock where it connects to the nut, but that fits snug now.

I just got one of these for my 308. Have to say I love the stock, it feels great and is just the right size for me. Originally I was going to have a Saigatech trigger guard on there, but not even going to bother with this stock. Welded a new AK trigger guard on, used a small pistol grip nut, I've got it screwed in pretty solid, isn't going anywhere. Have a good quarter inch gap between the back of the receiver and where it should match up inside the stock. Had to drill new screw hole. Will post pics tomorrow maybe just too tired now. Figure it'll be easy enough to find something to fil
