  1. Good luck! I heard the Saiga 100 series was no longer being imported and I've never even seen one in person in all my outings.
  2. I want some DRAGONS BREATH rounds!!!!! Are they legal for civilians to own? I also heard that Flacette rounds are a federal offense unless you are military...is that true?
  3. My dust cover rattles like a mother on my 12 and its driving my nuts! Its been doing this since it was new in the box. Im sure im not the only one that this happened too, so im reaching out to all of you to see what others have done to remedy this.
  4. Whatever happened to that? I thought Izzy was considering one for export here to the states about about the time the 5.45 came out? They sure hushed that up pretty good. I'd buy a 54R Saiga over the 308 in a heartbeat!
  5. +1 Cobra! Also for the original poster: Im trying something new with my puck. I got a can of Hoppes Moly Spray and coated my puck with it, so next time i go out shooting, im going to see if it makes any difference with sticking issues, but like Cobra said, these guns are tough as nails! I also coat all my AK pistons with Moly coating and it really helps prevent "cakeup" from happening...lol
  6. In all honesty, I use the Rustolium Textured black and I love it! its tough as nails, Ive painted 6 Saiga's and an SKS with it and I LOVE IT!
  7. Sounds like you have a winner right out of the box. They almost never run that way. Your gun is probably one in ten thousand. If it were my gun, I would leave it just as is. If you're worried about the rear trunnion, just pick up a black jack buffer from the Saiga 12 E-store here, or from CSS. Congratulations! Post Script: S12s that run well out of the box typically loose some (or a lot of) efficiency after conversion. You may find that your gun does not run as well after it is converted. Buffers can actually cause damage to the receiver and trunnion by not allowing the bol
  8. Try to get a real IMI Galil if you can, I've heard some bad things as far as the Galani Sporters go.
  9. thats a pretty tall order to fill these days im starting to find out...lol Im willing to buy from someone willing to sell, but nobody has come forward yet
  10. These things are sold out EVERYTHERE...did Goguns drop the ball or something, because I cant even get them to respond to my e-mails? I REALLY WANT ONE!!!
  11. I've been looking around for a year or so trying to decide one which muzzle attachment to get for my S-12 and now that I settled on the Talon, I cant find one anywhere in stock to save my life! Anyone know where to get one or want to sell one? The other thing is that I cant decide if I want the Standard or Mini...Are there any difference in performance? Due to length issues, I'd kinda like to have the mini, because I want to keep my gun as short as possible with the standard barrel, but I am willing to consider the standard if it works better. thanX, -RR
  12. From what I have experienced with 3" from my S-12 is they kick like a frickin mule! If my shoulder hurts from feeling the recoil from the stock, then think about how hard the bolt carrier is hitting the back of the receiver and trunnion and what kind of damage could cause to the gun in the long term? Stay with 2-3/4" save you're 3" for the Pumps... just my two cents.
  13. thats some scary shit! makes me wanna take a hammer to mine right now! Is this just Apple products right now or are all the Smart/Android phones doing this as well?
  14. Azrial knows what he's talking about dont fuck with his knowledge and more importantly...dont question his knowledge... he has never steered me a stray in the past... I use an Aimpoint T-1 on my MI quadrail setup and I couldnt be any happier!!!
  15. good call! polishing helps out a LOT, unless you just wanna grease it and put a couple hundred rounds though it and let it polish itself...lol
  16. shoulda just done the conversion and saved the time, trouble & money...
  17. if you're on a budget, try a BSA or Weaver 2-7X scope
  18. And puck and tube and..... judging by the look of it, it looks like this eliminates the need for a puck, because there is no place for it to go but im not 100% sure
  19. I ordered one about 5 minutes ago, but Im thinking about canceling the order, due to the fact like others here have said, you cant complete the converion without the rest of the parts. Im guessing that you're going to have to replace the front trunnion, because there is no way to remove the gas tube without pounding pins out, and as far as I know a standard AK Gas Tube wont work on the shotguns because they are too small... The idea of simplifying the S-12 by not having to adjust the gas regulator and eliminating the need for the Puck is an awesome concept for us here in the states, but
  20. +1 I paint the insides of all my Gas Blocks & Tubes with high heat BBQ paint to help slow or eliminate any possible corrosion that may come about...
