if that was true then i would have problem no matter what ammo i used. and i dont it only stovepipes with silverbear. accuracy (308) was good 1 1/4-1 1/2" @100yrds with silver bear if it didnt stovepipe i would buy it. the only time it stovepipes is with silverbear for some reason both my weapons dont like it.i think it is the low velosity silverbear has means less energy to throw out the shell. barnaul had 4" grps @100yrds out of my 308 so i will not use it. but i did find some that i got inside a 1" square fed power shok 150 SP

if SHTF i would think it would play like we took iraq or afgan. all miltary post bombed/nuked as well as all communications and alot of the LARGE cities and state capitols.there might be a defined frontline to speak of. they will try to owen the cites that are left and while we own the country side being on a road is nice target practice for a tank or helecopter remmber kewait. i would amagine there would be alot of ppl fleeing to the woods with nothing,but alot would surender like sheep.but to tell you the trueth i dont think we will ever get attacked with a standing army i think it more likl

i know the range owner was talking about new springfield M1a mags. falling out but as far as the rest not really sure what company made them cause it was some friends was at an appleseed training corse they seen all of them break down some old ,some new but ALL had problems my friend shortly after returning sold his.the range owner stressed you have to get a mil-spec reciver he seemed to know what he was talking about

not all from springfield are mil-spec or any manufactorer

they have had all kinds of problems from mag falling out to shell extractors flying out to jamming problems,if it isnt mil-spec it isnt worth getting.

Maybe you should try your luck with a springfield M1A very nice and reliable rifle M14 reliable lol a couple of friends of mine went to an appleseed trains corse not to long ago my 2 friends had ar15,1 guy had m1grand, every1 else had M14's they said EVERY1 who had M14 had major problems (like the shell extractor flying out and hitting the guy next to him),some had to use my friends 10/22 just so they could pass the corse. I did want an M14 but I've heard to many bad thing about them you have to get 1 that is all mil-spec which is what a 2K+ weapon, for 2K i would buy the best DMPS
