  1. I hear you Evil, we could be bringing guns to a drone fight. When the 2nd was drafted we ALL had muskets, things are a little lopsided these days and there still looking to take our guns. Go figure.
  2. I've always found stories of the illuminati and free mason's interesting, but more in an entertainment sense. When you see how bias the press has been, the way things have been presented and manipulated this whole election cycle in the back of my mind I can't help but wonder if there really are those with the power to steer things as they please. Just another reason to cherish the 2nd amendment . I hear you loud and clear Gaddis.
  3. Not voting Republican this election will be the ultimate act of giving away your rights as an American, far more than gun control. My only deviation will be voting for Chris Koster, Republican turned Democrat with a long record of conservative actions and unlike his Republican rival, won't turn Missouri into a right to work state. Not voting puts you in the "part of the problem" category in my mind. You have a month to learn the records of your elected officials, use it wisely and don't allow yourself to be benched on the sideline while the less informed decide your fate. ***Edited in to a
  4. My dad drove a tank across Europe in WW2, loved this country and loved football. I can only say that I'm happy that he and most of the other members of "the greatest generation" haven't lived long enough to see what's taken place in the country they fought for over the last 8 years. Black or white, I truly doubt most from that group of men and women would have the stomach for what has taken place in the name of rights they put their lives on the line for. My first post was a bit of a rant, but a lot of my core beliefs came from the benefit of having members of that generation for parents. All
  5. Living in St Louis, I get sick of seeing this stupid bitch's antics on the news. Jackass's like her and Kaepernick do more to divide and destroy what's left of our country than anything positive in the least bit. One of the best takes on Kaepernick that I've heard was that if he really gave a shit about inner city schools and urban blight, that he should pledge 5% of his earnings to help one of them and challenge all his protester millionaire football buddy's to do the same. Put up, or shut up bitches. Race baiting mother fuckers!
  6. Working at the airport in St Louis, seeing the second tower get hit from the tv in the break room. Plane after plane landing followed by an eerie silence as all flights were grounded for the next few days. The quiet in the sky was almost as disturbing as what had just taken place.
  7. Plenty of muzzle brakes on the market to crank up the volume if that's your goal, and while not completely the same as the double trigger, they've had release triggers for skeet guns for years. Back in the 80's, the name escapes me, but there was a company that made a pivot device for the 68 Automag paintball gun that doubled and I have to say it really cranked up the fire rate. Then again it's not a firearm and had no provision for cancelling the second shot once you pull the trigger, I can see the Echo device having a limited market and probably close to zero usefulness at a public range. Pl
  8. Just another technology waiting for people to abuse. I gave State Farm permission to take high res pictures of my roof with a drone that netted them finding hail damage the claims agent that climbed on the roof had missed. I can see the same technology being used by crooks to survey potential targets at some point, it's really not much of a stretch. Good for her for knocking it down, hope she got a smile out of it.
  9. Happy Birthday Joe, Enjoy...maybe you, Tony, and Chile need to go out for a frosty cool one ( ;
  10. The Solar System is a big big place. Shit has always happened since the beginning of time, and will continue to do so long after we're gone.
  11. I'm still trying to figure out what the CIA was doing in Benghazi
  12. ^^^Congrats Jerry, I had a lot of great times in the Clearwater/St Pete area with the kids when they were young. Enjoy.
  13. After 18 years and 265,000mi of trusty service, my Montero Sport's going to get a break...I found a Minty Ford Taurus SHO with the performance package RPO. The damn things stupid fast and has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car. Puts a smile on my face every time I step on it.
  14. I'm willing to give the guy a chance. If he can get rid of even a fraction of the mistakes Obama has put in place it's a step in the right direction. The absolute largest item at stake are the Supreme Court Justices. If she gets in because conservatives stay at home, it's game over. Suck it up and do the right thing or don't whine at the aftermath. This far far exceeds our gun rights (which will surely be gone). If you're on the fence you better do some soul searching and pick a side-there will only be two choices. If a third party shows up at the last minute it's a wasted vote.
  15. If it ever degrades to the point that we adopt the ways of the Israeli Mossad they might get the point. Kill an officer and your family tree becomes a stump. It's becoming a bit of a perpetual motion machine day by day as sad as that is. Never thought the USA would fall so far from grace, but then again, I doubt the people of Sarajevo saw it coming in when the Olympic Games took place there in 1984.
  16. My brother was a MP in 1969 turned copper for 33 years after. People forget that for almost every crappy thing that happens in life-They are the first responder. Fatal accidents, suicides, domestic disturbances, maybe a family member dies and the EMT or coroner hasn't made it yet. We've had a lot of talks through life, it can be a truly thankless job considering just how much they're exposed to that most people don't think about. His famous line was "everyone loves a fireman, hates a cop". He even got the call to save the asses of NWA back in the day when their fans got out of control (Yup, th
  17. I don't recall anyone stating what distance the shots were taken from. I'd bet most of us with average range time could hit minute of man with little effort provided you have the ability to stay calm. After living through the AWB, it might be time to diversify my investment strategy and start packing away popular high capacity pistol and rifle mags.
  18. For whatever reason 28 Weeks Later and I am Legend always disturbed me a bit, in the same way Phantasm and Hellraiser did when I was young. The War of the Worlds remake and Signs also had some good scenes.
  19. Stiern Laser Engraving is a company local to me that holds a FFL. After seeing their work and what's possible in terms of placement, fonts, depth control, I'd never let a manual engraver touch my stuff. It truly is a night and day difference at a comparable cost.
  20. ^^^^You can pretty much thank Larry Phillips, Jr. and Emil Mătăsăreanu's North Hollywood shoot out with the police for that one. I think that was a turning point where the cops said we'll never be out gunned again (and I can't really blame them for that). And by the way, just what the fuck does a robot bomb look like anyway?
  21. They managed to build a big clunky pistol that's less accurate than a standard pistol...o boy!
  22. Lost the ability to edit-2, 8,11,13,14,15,17,19,22,and 23 have all been sold on the files board
  23. In the larger scheme of things, I can't help but think the middle eastern Islamic nations are leading us down the same path we lead the Soviet Union in the Regan era. When states start talking about succession and financial institutions are in a downward spiral I don't look at it as a good sign, it's a trap. Throw in that time and time again we've over extended our military and the expense that goes with it, civil unrest, and the pattern starts looking very familiar.
