  1. Gunfixer plug? I never tried one, but it appears to be an innovative idea. My opinion?.... these weapons do not need the GF plug to be reliable. However, I may be missing out on the whole 'fixing' goodness that the plug offers (ignorance is bliss). I still haven't grasped the concept of exactly what it 'fixes'
  2. Absolutely gorgeous.... no trades? Looks like I'll miss this one. Norty, I hope things go better for you.
  3. Here's my Jam-o-matic using Winchester Universal Bulk pack.... Check it out and report back. Nice. How much work you have into that gun to do it? Even the comment on the youtube page says this: 123karismith " Dude! what did you do to your S-12 to make it run Win. Univ. My S-12 is a ***jam-o-matic*** with yhat same ammo! Share your secret. 1 week ago " Reported back. Nice gun BTW. I already had everything I needed to make it run, but I will list what I used. 4. Looks nice. Well.... who were the vendors?
  5. Here's my Jam-o-matic using Winchester Universal Bulk pack.... Check it out and report back.
  6. Cobra.... PA..... Amen, 'break in' happens on the work bench.... It takes me a day of piddling, filing, grinding, drilling.... and doesn't involve high brass.
  7. You have to do a little grinding on the top portion of the plate to make it work. You may also have to notch the safety lever so you can get it all in there. Never done it with a plate, but I have seen pics of S12 specific plates (same price as a standard AK plate, I think). Look around online. here at Dinzag Arms
  8. Did you get this one yesterday or today? Just wondering if it is new or something that has been sent a few times already.
  9. I cut the tang off to install my AGP stock and I wouldn't go back if I could. Just do it....
  10. The recoil pad on the AGP folder is an ACE pad and it is a comfy as I could imagine any pad being. The AGP has QD swivel attach points (4) and loops for sling mounting (2). Great folder in my opinion.
  11. I got a very lengthy update email from MD Arms.... looks like another 2 weeks before shipping starts. Fine by me, I still have to pay the balance of one of my orders, so a week or two is perfect for me.
  12. I understand. Pics do tend to magnify things. As long as you like it, that's what really counts. Now shoot the hell out of it and post some vids....
  13. Only problem is.... they could screw it up worse....
  14. First of all, I have a great deal of respect for people that will tackle their own project and get the job done. Do you have a Dremel? There is a Dremel bit that will cut hard metals and I find myself using it a lot. It is perfect for removing rivets, etc, but it takes a firm grip and a steady hand. If I were to guess, I'd say you used a 4" angle grinder to remove the optics mount from the reciever. It just looks like you got kinda deep and went a bit outside of the area that needed attention. Invest in a Dremel and some good metal bits for it. You will end up with much cleaner looking en
  15. Not to bust your balls, but please call it a mag or a magazine, not a clip. Clips are found in M1 Garands, etc. All of the info you need to make your weapon run is in this forum. A large part of it is in the stickies. I have come to the conclusion that nearly all of them need to be torn down to the barrel and reciever and 'enhanced' to work well with low brass. Some S12s need more work and some need just a little. Good luck with it and don't remove too much metal. If you have any questions about how to perform a certain mod that is in the stickies, many of us will be glad to help. The
  16. I would like to see an S12 Bullpup that was a cross between your avatar and this prototype I saw the video of that particular weapon. My sides were hurting by the time it ended
  17. What's with the slow fire.... drum can't keep up? Sucks....
  18. I like to see companies offering products for us 'gun lovers'. That being said, this thing just looks too 'busy' and the LOP looks crazy long. A phrase comes to mind.... Kushnapup meets HALO.... If it was 'toned' down a little, people may buy it. It nice to see someone trying something in the way of a Bullpup S2 though, but I'll pass.
  19. Thank you for the lead. I just got another AR15 today and it will be a couple weeks before I can jump, but I'll call and see if I can talk to Andrew.
  20. Mine is 12672. What the hell????? Did you already get an 'order staus update'? My emails didn't say anything about shipping, they just say 'paid' or 'deposit recieved'. Just wondering if these are the 'good' emails everyone is so happy about. I hope so....
  21. I got two emails today from MD that were 'order status updates' (two orders). Is this what you guys are getting? Is this good? I assume it means we are close....? FYI my order numbers are in the 14450 to 14550 range. I assume they are taken care of in order. Are you next, lol?
  22. I have been considering getting a 7.62x39 Saiga. I must have one with dimples. I absolutely do not want the stepped barrel. I know it doesn't hurt anything, but I just don't want it. Does anyone know of a dealer that has enough knowledge of their product to tell me whether or not the rifles they have in stock have the non-stepped barrel and dimples? I have been attempting to do business with a company that can't seem to identify canted sights (3 AKs sent back so far on one transaction due to canted sights), so I'm not even going to try getting one from them. It would be worth paying a little m
  23. How do you know it is overgassed? Just wondering what conditions make an overgassed S12. Did you drill some large ports?
