  1. See my last post above.......here..... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=63706&st=0&p=611468entry611468 Why do you even bother asking if you don't want advice? I'm done with you.
  2. In NY that would be called "Menacing." Excerpt fron NY Penal Code: § 120.14 Menacing in the second degree. A person is guilty of menacing in the second degree when: 1. He or she intentionally places or attempts to place another person in reasonable fear of physical injury, serious physical injury or death by displaying a deadly weapon, dangerous instrument or what appears to be a pistol, revolver, rifle, shotgun, machine gun or other firearm; or 2. He or she repeatedly follows a person or engages in a course of conduct or repeatedly commits acts over a
  3. Thanks. I was having a hard time figuring out what trigger slap is. In 46 years of shooting I've never experience anything like that.
  4. Totally the wrong way to go. Break it in with high power slugs and buckshot. At least a couple hundred. This has been covered over and over again!
  5. Do we really need to give nomenclature of shotshell lessons? ETA: Here, saves me a LOT of typing... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shotgun_shell BTW, IT'S CALLED SEARCH FUNCTION!
  6. Don't hold your breath on those in charge ever coming to that realization. Look up the recent gunshop raids in Nassau County. The DA publicly makes out an AR with a telescoping stock to be an assault weapon that no civilian has any reason to own. Yet you slap a fixed stock on that same gun, and it's a tamed kitten. Fucking politicspoliticians. There, fixed that for you.
  7. I run the factory plug and made it to about 400 round of Rem. value pack before failure with both the factory puck and the GoGun standard twister. I like the factory puck better (because it's factory) but the difference in operation was negligible.
  8. It is NOT "conspicuously beneath the action of the weapon." It is behind it, therefore legal.
  9. Me with one of my sons in the background. We had a lot of fun that day.
  10. I put the Tapco in because it came with the FCG. After re-reading this post I see that Pauly said "double hook". Mine is a single hook. After a very close side-by-side inspection, there are several differences between the tapco and the Russian hammer. I can't however see where the hammer comes anywhere near making contact with the spring on the BHO side, or anything else for that matter. My gun runs great so I think it's going to stay like it is.
  11. You made me look. I see it. Now I have work something to do.
  12. I had a bolt action Montgomery Ward WesternField 12Ga. with a factory Polychoke that I passed on to my son.

    Auto Gas Plug

Wut? Gas may be leaking past the puck/piston I did not know they made different sized pucks. Got a link? They don't but if the gas plug is made by Tac 47, chances are, the gun will cycle better with the stock puck or ANY OTHER PUCK ON THE MARKET!!! That would have to be proven, and I don't believe it has been. I just really wanted to know about the "tighter thicker piston/puck". The puck is usually the first thing to get [powder] fouled while shooting which is why some people think they aren't any good. Actually it is the unburnt powder in the escaping gas that is

  15. Hundreds of us have come across this before. Read. You've come to the place where all the answers are already written.
  16. Because the law does not require it here. There is very specific wording involved, both here and where you are.

  18. I eventually may experiment with checkering (on scrap of course while learning), but I really don't have a problem holding it the way it is. I've done quite a bit of carving in the past so checkering is just a matter of acquiring the specific tools and techniques. I don't really know shit about that. How exactly is it done? I am definitely interested in having the acquired knowledge in case i may ever want to do so. There are some videos on midway that explain it better than I ever could. Of course they make it look so easy. MrOneEyedBoh, that looks good! Now I'm curious about stip

  20. I carry a Springfield Armory XD9sc in a Cross Breed Supertuck year round. It's a very good CC holster. I haven't been made once (that I know of).
  21. I like it. Some people like a certain camo pattern simply for the color, pattern and style, not necessarily the usefulness of it. Some people like redheads, others blondes, others brunettes. No problem.
  22. I hate when I shoot ALL of my guns in the same day. It takes HOURS to clean them.
