  1. awesome.looks like psl has a little brother i have to ask though, how did you get the 4xpsl scope to mount on the saiga rail.reason i ask cause i have an 8x on order for my psl and would like to throw the 4x on my saiga thats just sitting there in the box.
  2. i know you said your trying to save some money, but i will add that if you get the tromix or ram trigger guard for the s-12 it will save you time and headache.if you reuse the factory trigger guard you will have to cut it so it looks like its suposed to be on there.then get the selector stop to mount with it.also when you go this route you will have to measure and drill, cut, file the square hole for the pistol grip nut.with the trigger guards i mentioned before, none of this is necessary.they come with the selector stop built in and a place to screw in for the pistol grip.the rifles are much easi
  3. The folks who "corrected" you were wrong. It's more like teaching you to say "nucular" instead of the correct "nuclear." One is just flat wrong. The other isn't. I speak Russian, incidentally. I worked as an interpreter when I was on active duty in the US military. cool so when i pronounce it "sue-kum-sin" i just called you a what?....nothing personal just seeing if im right
  4. You have to love that! I can't count the times I've heard I'am going to retire and going to work for Wal-Mart. Alzhelmer's!! Where do I get my ticket to stand in line? Why are you bashing on people who make an honest living at Walmart anyone making on honest living i have no beef with them. You could get that same argument from the "educated" liberal elite. You going to talk bad about the garbage man too, see what happens if he goes on strike. Personally i shop smart at S Mart. AAAAHHHHH...."shop smart, shop S mart,ya got that"
  5. This is what I am thinking as it seemed to fire with the bolt not locked, The conversion parts were a CSS kit with a Tromix modified triger group. The bolt has been polished but no real material removed, and the hammer has been smoothed and polished as well. im going to say that although very rare, that this is very possible.reason why is that you were doing a dump which means you were probably trying to soot as fast as you can, correct?and you say your trigger is a modified tromix(has nothing to do with tromix)so you are using a tapco g2.the tapco g2 while being smooth and light with anti s
  6. looking to buy either a 1pn34 or 1pn58 soviet night vision scope.would like to have original accessories with it and AA adapter but will consider if not.also if anybody just has info on a good source to purchase one,i would much appreciate it.thanks
  7. someone correct me if im wrong but if i remember right then zeroed out at 25 meters = 300meters and at 100 it should be around 16cm above.since you were doing it at yards instead of meters it sounds about right.
  8. size does matter, just ask my wife....wait,what are we talkin about and if you ask i supose stamina has something to do with it also.sorry mind in the gutter.wife is coming home after being in michigan for a week and i feel deprived
  9. and thats .02 cents well spent except alot of people don't know the difference between a PSL and SVD.so they are like "dang man you got a dragunov just like off call of duty" i usually just smile and say "yep"
  10. i absolutly love the SVD....however,in terms of accuracy and reliability the PSL and SVD are close to one another,UNLESS you have an actual bayonet specificly for the SVD(ment to be attached while shooting, acts as a boss system) and use 7N1 sniper rounds(designed just for the SVD) then the SVD will by far surpass many rifles.now the thing is that getting ahold of this total set up is very hard and expensive.also you are looking at the Tigr which will not accept the bayo anyway.so i say get the PSL due to cost unless you have the money for the Tigr which would be cool.oh yeah the SVD mags are q
  11. I never saw Russian Krink kits priced that way. Ever. i never said they were russian.if you need to be so perfectly informed on about products of years past;most were yugo and some bulgy.most 7.62x39 and some 5.45x39.all i was getting at is this stupid foreign barrel ban has really screwed up alot for us gun people,so i was just throwing the "used to be" comparason out there......now for the REAL IMPORTANT matter is,what options do we have for getting the correct barrel type for this build?anybody have a source cause this would be deciding factor for me on getting a kit which i would sooo
  12. what about the barrels.i thought it was a living hell to find the correct type for the build.has there been a break through on this?i would really like to know as it has been the main reason i have held back on having a build, even despite the prices of the kits.....man if i only knew a few years ago what i do now.you used to be able to get a kit WITH the barrel for $300
  13. Atak:thats awesome, great trophy and tell your girl i said great shot.i would be willing to bet that if a "situation" would happen that she would not become a statistic and rather a survivior.good job to you both.
  14. Sure, looks cool but PSL is 2" MOA 1.5" with ammo that she likes , so with short barrel is what, 3-4, common its a waist of the rifle. this why I am saying if you just want to have fun of shooting cans buy WASR,but if you want to use it for lets say hunting,or shoot 300-700 yards the reason why they made this AK on steroids in a first place, leave the barrel. Just my humble opinion . you bastard you have the black synthetic furniture and the 8x scope.i feel.....left behind.looks great
  15. im interested in the results of the gas block.in theory the ability to adjust the pressure to shoot various loads should work as far as how it cycles.kinda like the FAL and different gas plugs on the s-12.it would be a matter of getting it tuned in where you can find just where to set it for the paticular load you want to shoot.however, for me personally i would prefer to stick with the light ball surpluss as the gun and scope was intended for.that surpluss stuff has awsome penatration and if its knock down power for hunting you need then the privi soft point would be great.its 150grn which is
  16. Century should not be an issue as long as one is buying a gun that they imported, not one that they built. Aren't the PSL's they have simply imports manufactured in Romania by Cugir? I have not heard of any problems with Cugir PSL's as long as one uses bullets that do not weigh more than 150 grains. I have heard that PSL's have an issue with rapidly heating barrels (they have "pencil barrels). Is there any truth to this? I have never owned a gun from TGI, but I have heard a lot of bad things about them. Supposedly some of the receivers of their earlier FPK's would not hold up.
  17. either you happened to get a lemon, dont know how to use the scope,or are just blurting untested ideas out of the mouth.however i guess its possible to: buy one from a price jacker, not look any farther than wal-mart for mags, dont know how to sight it in....on and on and on.of course you could just get a century built H&K "clone" and bullshit yourself about it because it LOOKS like an H&K.....oh wait let me guess you or someone is going to cut in about how sucky they are cause they get too hot...well in real combat your target is not stationary and paper.it moves and has a mind of its ow
  18. as far as the the needing to 922r it if you go SBR,you would not have to cause 922r does not apply to NFA weapons either.as for the threading of the muzzle...it already is threaded with the thread cap there is a little tac weld on the bottom to hold it in place.you can take a dremmel and slice that weld fairly quickly and easily.for the choice of an underfolder i personaly dont know how to tell you how to install one but i do like the underfolder due to the compact ability.if i were doing it though i would just do an ace folder as it would be an easy install.either way sounds like your having
  19. I know DATS right ................ OOOHHH YOU SICK BASTARDS...........one of them looks like she is 9yrs! cool vid though
  20. i say that the draco is an excellent choice for MANY reasons.alot of people may say they are more of a novelty item or for collecting and not really much useful unless you SBR it......not exactly true.even in the "pistol" form it is very useful and can be an excellent tool.the main issue is getting used to the different ways to apply and shoot the draco.with practice ther are a few ways you can get comfortable shooting.this should be one of the FUN parts for us gun guys is going out to the range or field to get in touch with your new kalashnikov.other reasons for getting the draco....its new n
  21. actually i would probably buy the parts seperated but as many from the same place to not add a bunch of extra shipping charges.....reason being is while it may be easier it does not really grant any discount for buying parts in a "kit" form and to me comes with a few parts you dont need and pay more for.like some fancy trigger guard that may cost $30-$50 more when .59 cents worth of ace hardware and a little extra work can save alot.this is just one example.of course by the time you read and re-read and go from page to page trying to find and decide which "kit" has what you want......well,its
  22. its called "fanning the trigger" its a trick we used to use when i played NPPL paintball.it works well and with practice to application its very effective.....imagine an enemy(or multiple targets) behind some cover, maybe sandbags or a vehicle.you and your buddy working togeather one can suppress the target/targets behind the cover easily by laying down that kind of firepower.this allows your other guy to swiftly move up point blank and eliminate the threat while it or they are hunkered down in fear/intimadation.this works the same on all semi-auto firearms, some better than others of course....
  23. dracos are unique in this instance as they are pistols and are imported factory new from romania.this means that they are not subject to 922r laws and century only imports them and does not infect them with their plague that they have spread in many other firearms.the only problem i have had(after two ordered through the internet)was one of them the bolt would not close and it would jam....long story short, all that was wrong was the extractor spring was too large and stiff.no big deal.other than that both dracos ran flawlessly and the sights were excellent and dead on from the factory.i know s
  24. No need to tell me. I'm already at level 44! That's what happens when you feel like shit. You stay home and play video games. YOU BASTARD! im only at 42 and i too..."cough..cough" have been home sick this week
