Please elaborate, also how do you know this?? big-J, I asked WPA in their WTS section and they mentioned working with Molot to get the Vepr 12 into importable configuration. Not as much detail as is here but sounds like it is in the works. I'll have my CC ready.

If you don't mind your gun getting really filthy, SG Ammo has Centurion 1.125 oz slugs for ~$80 per 250 which with shipping is about the price of shooting a 45 ACP. But be warned they are really dirty. My Gunfixr plug also had to be set on 3 in order to get them to cycle which I thought was odd as the Winchester Super X can be run with less gas.

Really nice! I like the wood with the black grip as it is just a little different.

Coo. What kind of HP is that? Golden Sabre? -
This does look like a great addition to the S12 market. I do enjoy good old fashioned American ingenuity!

Is there a "We like the Saiga Forum" discount on these mags? -
That looks awesome. With the Krebs safety can you just push down on it to release the bolt or do you have to pull the bolt back slightly to allow movement of the safety? I'll double check tonight but I'm pretty sure you have to pull the bolt back. I think, but I'm not positive that I tried this when I was testing the safety after install. Excellent. Thanks!

Yeah that would be awesome but not being in the industry really hampers that effort. Are you going Pauly? -

That is really cool. Would you perhaps be willing to disclose the cost? Have you run into timing issues by adding that much length to a reworked gas system? -
I like the tang for standard options but if you want a folding stock you're going to need to cut it off.

Monetary Reform

Just to note your premise starts out with two blatantly false premises that Austrians are mercantilists and only read European history. Anyone spending any time looking into it would know that those are both wrong. Your point on China and silver is pretty interesting. What you describe is exactly what the Fed can do at any point. At least the Chinese had to work pretty darn hard to accumulate it. The Fed could do the same thing on a tiny time span. In China were there legal tender laws that said that only silver could be used? I'm just curious because I would like to see the repea -
Monetary Reform

There is some correct and incorrect information here. A dollar was initially (1790's) set as a certain weight in silver. Gold coins were coined in dollar denominations at a fixed exchange between the two (note that this in and of itself can prove to be problematic as a dual standard). Nickels did not exist until 1866 at the behest of a nickel mine owner in PA. From the 1790's until that time the only $0.05 coin was the half dime which was coined in silver. Half dimes and nickel five cent pieces were coined at the same time from 1866 to 1873 when half dime minting ceased. Nickels -
That is the same ammo that is used in the hog hunt on this thread. http://www.texashunt...opics/1890654/1 It was also sold in white boxes with blue trim as seen in this picture above the bird and another version of it as military classic hp. It is the most lethal 7.62x39 bullet design that has been imported from Russia. The bullet enters flesh and quickly explodes open. The closest US equivalent is the Hornady plastic tip ammo. I tested both out on milk jugs http://www.youtube.c...u/0/mhyZ9ZoPJ90 Shot 2 is the sapsan aka 8m3 you posted a picture of. Shot 3 is hornady Horna
