Agreed. Theres more than enough of them still in service to prove your post correct. I just love the looks of the milled guns. I dont think either of them would wear out anytime soon, and performance between them is debatable. I have both and really cant say one is "better" than the other. But as for the pistol, the smarter money is on the stamped gun.

The only AK pistols I got to shoot were the SLR-106UR and the M92. I really dont know what one was better, but if I were to SBR one, wit would likely be the 7.62. I prefer heavier bullets, and from a barrel that short, Id want the heavier bullets. I liked the SLR though. I really want to love the SAM7K, but the price is just bullshit.
