  1. Tatyana and Lola...MOAR pics please!
  2. Sure does. I've seen that somewhere before. It's on the tip of my tongue...
  3. I don't like it. It feels the Kalashikov name is overused and watered down. I just think of the Kalashnikov Vodka, Kalashnikov this, Kalashnikov that.
  4. All of mine feed fine. However, I don't always get that LRBHO function. Never had that issue with factory mags
  5. Where did you get this? thanks +2. Where?
  6. Very comfortable. Shot it side by side with my buddies SPX 930. That SPX beat my shoulder and palm shooting slugs.
  7. Sorry to revive this old thread. Took my VEPR 12 this weekend and used my PolyChoke II Flash. Groups are indeed tighter. Shooting slugs at 50 yards produced a nice 3 inch pattern (open xtra full). However, I noticed my POI shifted dramatically about a good 3-4 inches left from it's original POI with the CSS GK-01 clone. I'm not sure what's causing it.
  8. Thanks for the tips! I have 2 Izzy mags that needs the proper gun to go with! After seeing the parts for the LRBHO, I can see why it's difficult. I am leaning towards not doing that part but the Magwell looks very doable.
  9. It came with the box of parts that I got. I assumed that its an after market conversion kit and came with everything necessary to install it on a non-Magwell Saiga 12.
  10. To clarify some misinformation. You cannot purchase the LRBHO from either company. If you are wanting the factory LRBHO, get in line as it hasn't been available to the US market for sometime. Rusmilitary carried it only once and even then it's a project and a half to get it installed. I am assuming what Magicmonger is referring to is the BHO which is a different cat in itself. You will need to modify your receiver to install the magwell properly. Yes, this requires taking material away. There is a template floating around the forum, find it before you start as it has all the correct
  11. Thanks Jeluvsk! Any idea on the LRBHO parts? I have a couple of the Izhmash 8-round magwell type mags. I'd probably want to get the bolt hold functioning as well.
  12. Got this recently that came with a bunch of other stuff. I understand that this is the factory Saiga 12 Magwell assembly. Are the parts shown pretty much all I need to install on my non-Magwell type Saiga 12? What else would I need to get the LRBHO feature like the VEPR 12? Lastly, what's this worth?
  13. The GK-01 clone from CSS works great on mine. IMHO, it's the only brake I'd consider at this point to make my VEPR-12 922r compliant.
  14. Lighted up the mortar before dropping it on the tube. Exploded about 10 feet away from me and burned my hand and scared the shit out of the neighbors.
  15. To fold, press the catch located on the rear/side of the receiver towards the front. This will disengage the stock. The catch is responsible for holding the stock in place when folded. To unfold, press the button behind the receiver to disengage the catch. (Square looking knurled part)
  16. Depends on why you're interested in one. I bought it because I want to have one as factory correct as possible. Its also cheaper because its already a factory folder, plus the ambi safety. Also consider that you will need to buy another stock so consider how much additional $$$ you're going to spend to make it into a folder. FWIW, there's not much of a difference in LOP between a fixed trunnion variant with a NATO length bonesteel arms folder vs. the factory folder.
  17. It took me 30 minute of brute force muscle to remove that screw. Not only is it staked, the nut itself seemed longer than most grip nuts (more threads to unwind). The T-type ratcheting driver helps a bit. I use my palm and body weight to press on that driver down as hard as possible. Definitely use the biggest flat head that will fit. Slow quarter turns. You will end up trashing the screw in the end and perhaps the plastic piece under the pistol grip.

    Break-in Ammo

Walmart bird shot bulk packs. Lots ot it. I throw in some Rio slugs to check sight alignment. No break in necessary. Works from the get go.
  19. Guys here in the US will pay a LOT more for a configuration like yours. Congrats!
  20. I got that last one this afternoon. Lynne sent me my shipping info 20 minutes after I placed the order.

But couldnt hit shit. Guess I need to give her another chance. But Just doesnt seem very effective. Longer barrels make a huge difference in trap/skeet.</p></blockquote> I find that a good open sight offers a bigger advantage than a longer barrel (past 19 inches). I've also shot skeet with my VEPR 12 with a red dot installed. I found that having that
  22. Its not a typical platform for this sport, at least around my neck of the woods. Lots of the guys use highly decorated 40 foot long double barreled shotguns. Misunderstood is really what I would describe it. The regulars are curious. I'm a relative new comer on skeet, having started a few months ago. My average score is not the best, probably get around 15-16 out of 25 on most rounds. Today was different however. Nice weather, nice breeze. Did two sets today and score my highest so far. I made 19 on my second round. Coulda made 23, but started to fuck up once I realized I had a perfect sc
