Did you have to modify mag or mag well or mag catch lever in any way to function, or simply just the bullet guide addition? The transparent mag looks really sweet! Good job. I'm holding out for Iron Woods SVD style furniture, already have Rhineland's on a Saiga.

I want one because that is what Atticus Finch used in the To Kill A Mockingbird movie to shoot the rabid dog.

The scope is a no-name (BSA duplicate based on lens screw covers) 3-9x by 40, around $25, just for looks for now, once I start shooting it, I'll want a 16, 24, or 32x for 100-200 yd range shooting with my eyes. Scope was on my Airsoft SVD, SO I moved it over for looks.

This ban on the Izmash Tigr is now ridiculous with these Vepr 7.62x54s coming in. They shoot the same bullet, both have 10 round magazine, both can be scoped. Once the bullet is in the air, it really doesn't matter too much what it came out of. They are both made in Russia. Let us buy what we want! Is the TIGR too 'sniper'? US forces use 308 AR, Barretts and Rem 700 based units, and we can go buy those just fine. Who do we write to get the TIGR set free?

They now have a Saiga compatible Real Dragunv stock available seperately, guess it the same wood ones on the Dragunov Saiga-12. A little pricey at $300, but there is not really anything besides the real one that looks this good. Ordered mine, atleast it has free shipping.

I have the AK FMD which looks like they changed the name to the Spike X1S. What about a rifle intended to possibly shot Zombies from a distance that a neighboring zombie would not be able to home in on. Marketing, that all it is. Sniping I think relates to a skill related to a shooter, better at distance and higher accuracy than typical shooter.

For under $200 you can find the Archangel Nomad Kit (formally known as the Maruader Kit) and turn your Ruger into what appears to be a full size G36. Midway currently has them for around $160 through end of May I believe. If you look up Archangel Maruader on Youtube, you see how nice they look.
