  3. Cabelas has the Nikon coyote special here locally for $200 in camo. Has bdc reticle for .223 have it in 3-9 and 4-12 I'm getting 4-12
  4. But in light of the most recent "conversion" no drilling on the standard ak axis pins! Otherwise good luck! The plastic plugs look clean from what I've seen
  5. Reasons for keeping mine stock "sporting" weapons, please don't hurt me I considered making my wife's .308 vepr square back Cali legal (go with an s308 trigger and stock) at the moment thumb hole is legal here.
  6. I feel bad, I said I wasn't going to buy one but did! Mine says it will be available for pickup in store on 2-27 My $25 brick of blazer came in today

  10. So weird, my gun shoots just fine, saigas are weird, I jumped a round accidentally using setting two with a 3" kent steel, otherwise mine will occasionally shoot cheap #8 remington $5.50 a box on setting one, stupid weird saigas!
  11. That's part of why I buy it when I see it! I want it for myself and my children, but I feel bad when I'm taking it from someone else. I also know there is a 50/50 chance that the guy behind me was gonna go gouge the crap out of someone else. So right now I am investing, the problem is that people are willing to pay $90 a brick. I think that will be the norm until two things happen, when two lines cross, when the people who have ammo have enough, and when people who want ammo to go out and shoot give up. The market will crash and we might level out in the middle. I have a pellet gun n
  12. The one hole looked untouched, the other looks chamfered from the bit on the top side of the hole, doesn't look like it changed the shape of the hole, I think its fine, just undue. Get the proper retaining plate and new pins, might have to figure out the safety, I want his old trigger for a project!
  13. Well there are plenty of them around from a different thread Most of those are the s12 not 308, pretty different on how the carrier fit
  14. I have ammo, and if you are local and want some to shoot, come see me. If you want to sell it, piss off. If you want some for your shelf, we can talk. That's my opinion, I've got stuff from .05-.10 per round. Lane county oregon, let me know. No shipping. It's a pain and I got stiffed five bucks last time. I've got just over 8k rounds last 3500 were lucky accident.
  15. Where is the OP from? I'd be glad to offer a helping hand and or hands on advice. Depending on how bad the holes are they might not need attention! Look at the hole for the safety lever! It's got a giant notch to clear the arm inside but still holds the safety just fine. I am on a cell phone so maybe I'm not seeing it but it looks to me like he may have just scuffed the edge a little, don't see egg shaped from my view.
  16. Legion has the 223 for around 550, Prices are up, just how it is. Might go down but I doubt it
  17. Way to go, bump this old thread again.... Btw I would still buy it right now, even though I just picked up a vepr in 308
  18. This thread is 15 pages long! Lot of reading to get that answer
