  1. If you have one of the multi-postion gas regulators on your gun, I am the guy you shold be thanking, that's who. Since no where in my post (or any other post I've made) that I advise over-gasing a gun, then no, the shoe is the wrong size. Good to know that we agree here. It is regrettable that you got the idea that I was addressing my comment at you, but I am happy that this has been cleared up! As to the Multi-Position Gas Regulator, well yes I have one. I bought mine from Mike Davis, who bought the design from GunFixer as I recall. Are you saying that he stole the idea from
  2. Its near twice the money. Can you honestly say it is anywhere where near twice the rifle? Yep. More metal, less plastic, better receiver. More reliable and consistent. Closer to''the the real thing.' So the receiver is better why? Because it was made in Czechoslovakia, rather then the good old USA, by Americans? What a disturbing worldview for an American! It has MORE plastic, as has been pointed out by Rocinante. But, your opinion Sir and duly noted! As I have said, the only people that seem to hate the Century gun, don't have one.
  3. A laser illuminator is what you want. Check out the ND5 Long Distance Laser Locator.
  4. Go to my gallery Go to my gallery to see mine modded with a weld-on cheek rest that I fabricated and a Russian Grenade launcher recoil pad. I have mine on an AK 7.62x39mm, but I would be quite comfortable with it on a S12.
  5. The Inner city jungle hellhole of Deepest, Darkest Atlanta.
  6. You know a lot of the "we are the world" and "we are all just alike" BS posted here reminds me of those ignorant "COEXIST" bumper stickers that you see on the rear of white middle class American's cars. Particularly those raised Christan, but are now without any strong religious beliefs. This bumper sticker makes a much sense to a Muslim as one of Jesus and Satan shaking hands would to a true Christian! I will tell you where you will never see one of these stickers, you will never see it on the trunks of Jews or Seiks, as they have already dealt with the Muslims first hand and have the
  7. Just curious, was your post directed at me. I got the impression it was. Who are you again? Oh, I checked, you changed your name, I honestly did'nt know! The C&S guy! Yeah, long time no chat! But sure, if the shoe fits... It does not seem to from your post above. But anyone that says that the first place to correct a misfireing Saiga is to "over gas it" has no business advising others. If that is not you, what is the problem?
  8. Yeah, I have heard this story before, any pictures? You have to wonder why the whole Internet is full of stories of "Don't shoot that hot Czech ammo in your Tok or you will blow it up" and YOU have see a "a few blown CZs" Haha, either way enjoy your Yugo, but don't kid yourself! And I would still strip this one down and take a look at the hammer/sear engagement!
  9. I never said that you were trying to justify... every one is so damn touchy!
  10. I do 125 situps every day, and 65 real push-ups. I am starting with the weights and running and riding the bike again.
  11. In Greco-Roman mythology, Cerberus was the three-headed demonic hound which guarded the gates of Hades... And I remember when people made a big stink about the "Man in the Moon" emblem of Proctor and Gamble...
  12. Its near twice the money. Can you honestly say it is anywhere where near twice the rifle?
  13. I am sure that it could be repaired. I would think that the sear to hammer face is not square or some other equally fixed malady. Of course, if you just justify it, it will never get fixed. Right now, from what Indy Arms says, it is dangerous. I fixed several 1911s doing this exact same thing.
  14. +1 I hate to see the Saiga 12 associated with BS like this. That's why the AK-47 has the stigma that it does. Yeah, the last thing I want to be associated with is a pack of Ghetto morons. Easy to see why this crap went straight to DVD. Thinking that everything that is said negative of any individual is motivated by racism, is racism. Some blacks are sinners, some are saints, the same as the rest of the human race. Idolize this heroin and crack dealer all you like, but don't feel licensed to call everyone a raciest that does not care for him or the lifestyle he represents. There ar
  15. Arik, that pistol has been around a few years. It is one of the most modified CZ52s I have seen and its owner, a fellow that goes by the name of Brigadier over on the CZ boards, has done a lot to advance the idea of modding these pistols. That said, I like 6500rpms a lot more. It looks more like what the factory would have evolved it to if it was still being made today. I just wish I had access to a Mill now.
  16. I think that ammo was a mistake. I have shot about 1M of it through my pistol. It is hotter, but I think it was just a batch error.
  17. Over gassing your Saiga12 is like over boosting a turbo on a car. It works great! For a little while anyway... before it dies. A gas operated semi-automatic is supposed to be a balanced system. The larger the ports the more crud that gets into the system. There is a reason that every single professional builder on this board takes a lot time polishing and fitting the action to run with the port size as close to the factory as possible. This is the same policy advocated by the serious members here. You will not find one of them that recommending "over gassing" the gun, by choice. Wh
  18. I use the ACE on my Saiga 12. On my AK, (homebuilt, not Saiga) I use a modified Romy. For most use I use it as pictured. If I use it with Body Armor I remove the recoil pad to give a shorter length of pull. I have about $40 in it counting the recoil pad. I found the steel to make the cheek rest on the side of the road. There are close up pics in my gallery if you are interested.
  19. For the same reasons that anyone does. Keep in mind when disparaging the police, they do not make laws...
  20. Almost any petroleum solvent will melt the cheap paint of a Saiga. You will see...
  21. so does my yugo m57. just wish i had a few K, for my pps 43. p.s.what observed reality? in you opinion? My opinion, I believe that the CZ is the better, stronger, pistol. But there are some around here that vehemently agree with me. Now to be honest, they are more prone to breaking firing pins if dry fired, however I have a Harrington machined Steel firing pin in mine and that it not an issue for me. They will also sometimes fire when you use the decocker if it is worn. Mine works fine. But I have never seen one where the hammer will follow just because you drop the slide without
  22. If you don't mind them coming off, as have been mentioned here by others, use the e-clips. I insist on reliability in my AK and they would come off after every session. My plate has never failed! On the other hand, you may be luckier then me in their use! Either way, good luck!
  23. Boy, these guys with the Toks hate to believe the observed reality! My CZ gobbles up the Czech ammo by the thousands.
  24. Our Federal Government, thanks to the man now at the helm, is working against us in our desire to maintain Sovereignty. It is foolish to let ourselves be invaded, just because they come in small groups.
