I'm wondering has this happened with anyone else? I've never seen this before. I used about 30 - 40 rounds of different brand that I got from a friend for my last 3 gun and I'm wondering if that is maybe it. I shot about 100 rounds total through it since I cleaned it last and I didn't notice it then.

Make sure you have the bolt on the track correctly. It should move easily.

Just get a dehumidifier and put it in the workshop. The house should keep the temp good enough but they make something called a golden rod (I think thats the name). One thing that you could look into do is getting a safe door and putting steel on the ceiling and walls to make a safe room. Might be cheaper then buying several safes and your tools would also be protected.

Sorry had a dozen in me when I posted that. I only feel the trigger slap when I shoot slugs. I didn't feel it with birdshot. My gun is converted. I had this trigger in my other saiga without in issues. Its a tapco.

I've got trigger slap with slugs (didn't feel it with slugsbirdshot) how to fix? Edited because of too many beers.

I ordered from him a few years back. I got a stock, some misc things, and targets. I saw the warnings called and ordered anyway waited about 1 week and there was my order with lots of extra little booklets. If I ever get a M1A again I order from him again.

A guy had one of those at a 3 gun match I was at. I won't buy one it puts the mag way to high up your body. It was about 2 inches below his arm pit and that costs more then the mag does!

Most of Florida is like that....few places around here are good, but most aren't. If you think the roadways in Orlando suck, don't drive through Miami...fucking nightmare. No one else has asked. When you shot the bird shot did you turn the gas adjuster to the #2 setting? The #1 setting is for heavy loads and #2 for light loads.

So how was it? Even if I would have saw this yesterday I wouldn't have been able to see it because of the cloud cover.

After I read this article, when it came out years ago, I fell in love with the Saiga shotgun.

I just did this this summer. But I went to a friends and we drilled and tapped the bolt to put the handle on it. The bolt is differentially some tuff steel we had a hell of a time drilling and tapping it and this is with a mill. I haven't had any problems with the cover coming off.

Cool idea I never thought to use sheet metal and I sit by 1000's of pounds of it every day.
