  1. Good gun, good price. Great if you have small children. Take the magazine out and the gun does not fire. There is a little trick to get around that so you can reload and cover a bad guy at the same time. If you grip the gun and with your trigger finger, pull the slack out of the trigger. Now when you drop the mag you can fire that one round left in the chamber. Yes your finger is on the trigger so be careful. This is also good to know so you don't have an AD by counting on a safety feature that you have unknowingly disabled.
  2. I posted it just as it came to me. I have not had a chance top research the information yet.

  4. FORKS!! I see a sudden outbreak of gangs arming themselves with forks. Drive by forkings will soon be the norm until the ban those also (except for collectors of expensive ones). They will only be allowed to own plastic sporks like the ones at KFC. If they had CCF guns that shogun warrior would not been successful in his mass attack. I've also heard the argument here for banning cheap firearms. I guess only rich people should be allowed to protect themselves. I say we give states like California back to the Brits.

    Stocks

Pretty much any AK47 or AK74 bolts right in. If you decide to fill the hole left vacant by the old trigger with Chicago screws or some other type of bolt that goes across the inside if the receiver then you will have to cut a notch in the bottom of the stock so it will seat all the way into the receiver. If you want a folder, Tapco makes one that will bolt/screw right in. The original AK folders require a little work on the receiver but the rest work fine. The Saiga made from a stamped AK receiver. Find a stock you want on the internet and then post it here and I'm sure someone will tell

    First Saiga

I have mine ported and I have not had any fireball in front of my site. I also shoot the light loads through mine. I like mine just fine. I find the follow up rounds are quicker due to lack of muzzle rise. I also have a Shark break and a mercury buffer in the stock. My S12 is completely reliable and the recoil is like the 762X39 so I can shoot all day without a bruised shoulder.
  7. LEO are corrupt because they have power over the ordinary citizens. Power corrupts. "Protect and Serve" is more like a business slogan than it is a factual pledge. Furthermore, the police have no obligations to protect us. The Police are State-run organizations, and the Constitution is very clear on the subject of the State interfering with a free citizenry: It tells the State to keep out of our lives. Kind of interesting when you note all the bureaucrats trying to take your guns away from you by feeding you the line of bullshiite that the cops are there to protect you, so you d

  9. Shotgun pistols are not illegal (in Florida). I know of two .410 revolvers currently available to the public without any special paperwork. You are correct about the AOW conversions. In order to shorten a pistol grip shotgun to make an AOW, the shotgun to be converted can not have had a shoulder stock origanally. I was considering getting one of these for the house http://serbu.com/top/superShorty.php. I prefer the Remington over the Mossberg version. That is just my preference since I have used the 870's for so long without any problems. I like this in the .410 http://www.gundirectory.
  10. It is relative to what they buyer is willing to pay. I have seen them at gun shows recently in new converted condition as yours appears to be and they varied in price anywhere between $800 to $1200. They are scarce right now so you may be able to get it sold at the higher end. You could always start high and let the buyer talk you down a couple of hundred dollars. That way you get your money and then some and he feels like he got a good deal. As hard as a properly converted S12 is to find right now he probably won't be wrong either. It would be funny to see picture of your gun show up on
  11. I don't see how he could have shot himself in the back of the head. I'm sure the press did not get this wrong because they are usually extremely reliable. As for the people that shot themselves in the head; When they place the muzzle under the chin the mess is not as bad as when they put the muzzle in their mouth. When the round enters under the chin, the gasses are able to escape out of the mouth as the round moves upward and pops the top of the skull off. When the muzzle is placed in the mouth, the gasses have no where to go and causes the entire head above the bottom jaw to explode. Th
  12. Can we buy from that site. I did not think that they would ship that stuff over here. I would like to get a couple of the deactivated rifles but I see that they specifically stated that they won't seel those to the US. If we can buy from them, how are they to deal with?
  13. If you are looking for parts for conversion, the best way to get prices is by shopping around on the computer. There are several (Tapco, K-Var, Red Star Arms ect.). The prices for the most part are the same from site to site but every now and then you can find specials that may save a few dollars. You will need for the basic conversion; 1. Butt stock K-Var has a nice one that is the standard AK size but Tapco now has one that is about half the price. 2. Trigger group, Tapco has a doudle and single hook version for 30-40 dollars. Red Star has a nice adjustable one but it is about 80 dollar
  14. Looks realy good! I understand that you took the BHO out. If so what do you plan on doing with it? There have been several posts here by members looking to buy one.
  15. That would be great if you happen to have $13,000.00 to spare plus $200.00 to the Govt. for the registration.
  16. Gunsmoke in Crawfordville Fl will have complete basic kits after the first of the year.
  17. Unfortunatey both th Wmarts that are close here seem to be giving in to the anti-gun crowd. Within the last couple of years they have completely discontinued firearm sales and the selection of rifle, pistol, and shotgun ammunition has become very basic and has in the last few months become more expensive than the local gun stores. Between that and the type of people they man that department with I feel that they are purposely trying to discourage customers from doing business. I expect that they will soon phase out all ammunition sales in the near future. They have almost completely replac
  18. Tell me why a Swat team armourer would need a Walmart sporting goods employee to answer any gun/ammo question?? I read my post and I don't see where I stated that I ever asked any fucking questions. I don't care for the questions or comments made when I go to buy more than two boxes of ammunition. I was stating in my two posts that I have had similar experiences as originally described. The point was that the sporting goods section does not get the same attention when it comes to staffing as all of the other departments in the store. I just went back and read the rest of the post
  19. Which Limbsaver are you talking about and which stock is the T-6. I have a slip on limbsaver and a screw on also. Neither works with my K-var AK stock. They are both too big. I have not checked to see if they have one specifically for the AK stock.
  20. Cool, the Floridians should get together some time after new years and try a shoot out on the range, will be cool to see faces with the nics and see what you guys have, I mean show the mean hardware. I'm in!! Can you shoot full auto at that range? The ones here get on my case evry time I show up.
  21. I like playing dumb too. The idiot will think he is the authority on the subject and spout all kinds of stupidity. After listening for a while just for entertainment, I will then break it down to him and share what an idiot he is so we both know before I leave. If I was asked why I wanted 5 boxes my answer would have simply been because I didn't have the money for 6 boxes. This bonehead did not rate an explanation. I am a Police Officer and I have been called to Wal-mart because some guy came in and bought 1000 rounds of 308 and a case of 12 gauge. I tried to explain that this was the be
  22. Sorry about that it was late and I had already inserted my head in my ass for the night. I try to get my new post straight and in the correct section in the future.
  23. I believe your results would be enhanced if you glued or braced the buffer in the stock. The spring allows movement which does not let the buffer work as it was designed. The buffer should be attatched in a rigid manner as if it were a permanent part of the frame, stock, or barrell and should be in-line with the recoil. Joeddox; I forgot which one I ordered but it looks like the one Rolling Thunder posted. I'll get the measurements and get back to you with that part number. You could also use that screw hole on the back of the buffer to attatch the buffer if you did not want it permanentl
  24. They are junk and very slow. The spent shells do not eject. You have to eject the empties one at a time and then reload one at a time. They hold twelve. They were lableled a destructive decive solely on looks. I would feal a lot mor confident going to battle with a good old fashioned 870 pump or my favorite Ithica model 37 pump. The 37 gets over looked but you can hold the trigger and fire as you work the pump action. Much faster than the evil street sweeper.
