  1. I am not aware of anyplace in the area that stocks them. I couldn't even say for sure that I saw one for sale last weekend at the Market Hall show.
  2. I took a regular trigger guard and had it modified to look like the S-12 trigger guard. It turned out real well, and real hard to tell the difference from the original. It was done for me by Newton Firearms a couple years ago.
  3. Wow, that looks good. What kind of 3M pads did you use?
  4. I'd buy at least a couple 5s at that price. I would like to see some 10rd .410s too.......
  5. Located just East of DFW, though I work there. Unconverted, some use, but not abused. 1 10rd mag $325 shipped or $300 FTF
  6. I picked up a G2 double-hook from redchevyman (on Falfiles, AKfiles, or Gunco, I forget which) for $31 OTD.

    Trigger guards

I bought an almost exact reproduction of a real Saiga-12 triggerguard from Newton Firearms. I want to say it was $20, and I had to supply the TG and selector stop.
  8. Are you looking for an extra? I have one that sat a bit crooked on my S-12. Now that I have replaced it, I'll sell it somewhat cheap.
  9. When ruseller first reappeared, I ordered a drop case a 2 Russian slings from him. It took a bit of time, about what I would expect, before I got them. One of the items was wrong, and he seemed more than helpful in straightening it out for me. It turned out that I kept it anyway, but I came away w/a positive experience, and would buy from him again. Based on all that I have read, I have only seen 1 person complaining about him, and last I read, that was a result of a shipment of items being seized or something upon import. I also read that it was being worked out, though I haven't hear
  10. Not my auction, nor do I have any affiliation. Just passing along what looks like a good deal. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?item=35250951
  11. What did you have to do to get it to take standard AK mags, trunion work? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I beleive it did not require any trunnion work. I don not know, since I paid to have it done. I do remember him saying that he had to jack w/the trigger guard a bit. Other than that, I think it was just a matter of opening up the magwell.
  12. I hate to burst your bubble, but you are wrong. Here is a pic on my converted SA-2000M. Currently one of my favorites. If anyone happens to run across that guy, I have the original magazine for it, that I will sell for $10 shipped.
  13. FWIW, ruseller is AndyArts from Ebay, and has been around quite a while. If you take a look at his feedback, that becomes quite obvious. He also had quite a bit of feedback on Ebay, IIRC (before they shut him down). As far as the fine print, I'm willing to bet his situation is the same as everyone else who is shipping out of Russia, he is just up-front about it all. My .02
  14. OK, save me the trouble of calculating the exchange rate and the non-EU discount. What was your actual price?
  15. Hmm, I have an older .410 also. This is not good news.

  17. Interested in parting with one screw&nut set?

    AK-74 FSB

Correct. An AK-74 is 5.45. The brake can be made to work, if you enlarge the exit holes in the brake (though you lose the chrome lining in that area). You could also get a AK-103 brake, which looks similar, but is made for 7.62x39. You could also look into this: http://www.k-var.com/product.asp?0=216&1=234&3=574
  19. Email Josh at NFAsales@cox.net He will get you the same item (from K-Var) and the shipping will be quite fair. If you want an example of his business ethic, go over to Arfcom on the AK side and ask around.
  20. Guess I need to check my threads more often. OK, I guess I did a little better than you pricewise. Picked mine up at the funshow Saturday, $319+tax, NIB. It's an '04 import. Only downside is, I have the selector gap, though it may be fixed by using a new dust cover. Wish I could determine that without having to buy one. Like you Cobra, I have no problem inserting a loaded 5rd mag, it's just technique. AFAIK the S-410 goes, I've shot some slugs through it, but it's been awhile, and I was just playing around at the time. Recently, it's become my wife's snake/donkey shooter
