Porting for Mid-Barrel Comp.
gunfighteruk replied to SaigaNoobie's topic in The Competitor's Corner / TEAM SAIGA
Alex's midbarrel comp in action from yesterdays UK Shield Tournament .............. 10 shots , 10 plates hit in 6 seconds . Buckshot was a breeze through Alex's D1 saiga .... Just dont try running with a 24" barrel ......... -
Is this brake available in the US? Has anyone used it?
gunfighteruk replied to TDH's topic in Saiga-12
Only handguns & semi auto/pump center fire rifles are banned although you have to have secure storage & be approved by the Police........... & were limited to the number of guns owned ( usually 7 ) on licence. Ipsc ( practical ) shooting is very popular although mostly with shotguns & either .22 rifles or lever action carbines.Saiga's are still quite a rare sight at a tournament , think mine are the only USA custom ones.(Alex Wakal - Drednought D1 )although all factory models from Rusmilitary are available . Note the Mid barrel comp again from Alex, very little recoil. -
12g reloading on a lee loadall.

555JM ........... thanks a lot mate. -
Any one reloading 2 3/4 hulls for their saiga's on a lee loadall ?? Over here in the Uk were very limited on reloading components & im looking for advise on a 1oz or 1 1/8 load to work with Red Dot powder but must be compatable with the Lee bushings supplied with the press. My Saiga 12 has a mid barrel compensator & seems to favour " heavy " loads . Also does any one have 500 once fired Winchester AA hulls ( the newer type ) for sale ? ( i will supply a USA address for sending to) Thanks a lot.

Due to your week dollar , Rusmilitary have hiked up the UK prices on all saigas = http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/firearms_saiga12.htm So thats about $ 1200 for a BASIC saiga with factory pistol grip .................... what a f***ing joke. There's about $1.4 Us to the Uk pound. The best bit is Agp mags for only $ 110 EACH. Now last time i looked the Uk was a lot closer to Russia so some one is making a fortune one the back of this. Also the Uk spec guns still dont work & have all the breakin problems you lot have. If possible could you arrange some civil unrest

Two of Alex's Drednaught D1 competition Saigas ................... just made it over the pond : The first custom USA saigas i think to hit Europe. Note the 24" Uk legal barrels ! Ported/compensated. Tromix comp stocks. Lots of go faster mods. Just awaiting Jpoints to arrive.

Howabout having an International section ? one person from each nation could write about saiga models & parts/mods available & any tournaments or shoots happening.

Has any one yet tried to add a magwell to a Benelli M2 using Agp mags ?? Allways thought this would be rather good !

poll on the Enos forum
gunfighteruk replied to topmaul's topic in The Competitor's Corner / TEAM SAIGA
I voted with you ............ but over here in the UK were screwed either Standard , Modified or Open, think its the same for most of Europe. So any mag fed gun is Open. Counted 12 Saiga users at my last comp out of 75 shooters, numbers are picking up although as yet non are custom or slicked up most are magwell spetz 3.Slow reloads & only 8 rounds . 2010 ......... any one loan me a Saiga were having problems getting permission to bring firearms into the States. -

Racegal , thats for reminding me of my original posting : Just an update for those interested, Esteban promised a full refund of my $ 5580 - that was three weeks ago .............. sofar $ 1580 has shown in my account ......................... will let you all know when the $ 4000 turns up ............ No other comment. -
Just a few photo's of how UK practical shotgun looks. These were taken at todays tournament in Hampshire, it was wet , very wet : 7 stages of birdshot & SG . It was my first outing with a basic saiga 12K .............. cant wait for the real deal to arrive from Dreadnaught. Safety area: lots of damp Remi 1100's & even damper shooters. Nasty weak shoulder stage. Clearing yet another jam ............ Custom Armchair Tactical chest rig , work a dream which was more than could be said of my Saiga.

UPDATE : just got a FULL REFUND I wish the rest of you waiting customers a speedy end to your wait.

Morale Boost for Those Waiting for E-TAC Delivery
gunfighteruk replied to DaveAK's topic in Saiga-12
The only differance is that the Uk require 24" barrels & the stocks dont fold. I will not post an argument on here as its plain for any one to see you failed to both build & deliver as requested, within a guaranteed ( by you ) time. Thankfully we have credit card legal cover against sharp trading, do not attempt to now try & deliver these guns as i have allready passed all the information to your local Gov trading standards office who will now be handling this.
