  1. Just curious. Do you always wear a coat, even in the summer?
  2. That is why it is important to be in "Condition Orange" (I think that's the right condition) all of the time. Be aware of where you are and everyone else's location with regards to yourself. I think a lot of these "fast" attacks may have been avoided. People just don't pay attention to the events and persons around them.
  3. I just checked Gilbert's Guns and they appear to have some in stock! Get one while you can.
  4. You should know better in these current time. You got to jump on these deals "NOW". Procrastinating gets you nowhere.
  5. The Bersa .380's aren't meant to be range pistols that can be fired thousands of rounds like the Glocks, etc. Be nice to them and they will be nice to you!!!
  6. I have the Bersa .380CC and Bersa .380 Plus. Never had a problem with either one. Sorry to hear about your experience.
  7. For those in the market, Centerfire has the 19" model for $550.00.
  8. Join the rest of us reloaders who are also scrambling for new sources for reloading supplies. High prices and shortages will probably continue into the forseeable short future with "what's his face" taking over January 20 and the Dems just waiting to flood his desk with gun control, ammo control, etc bills. Don't know where you live and if you are close to large sporting goods stores like Gander Mtn, Cabela's, Sportsman's Warehouse, Bass Pro Shop, etc. From my understanding they are all short of reloading supplies and basically you just have to be there at the right day and right time to fi
  9. The only store within traveling distance from where I live that carries a full reloading department is Sportsman's Warehouse in Las Cruces, NM. It is the same there as your Bass Pro in Vegas. Out of all the popular powders. Has some primers but in very low quantities. Bullets are the odd calibers. Ammo is also in short supply. When they do restock you'd better be there jolly on the spot because the next day anything popular is gone. I was lucky enough to find 1-lb of VV N320 on one of the days I happened to be there. Apparently they have just started carrying Berry's bullets in the 250
  10. Charter's Quality Control is hit and miss. Can get some good ones that run with no trouble. Others like yours are a royal PIA. I'm sure Charter will make it good though.
  11. I have a new (never been used) 22-rd magazine for the GSG-5 that I need to convert to cash ASAP. First $45 takes it-that includes shipping. I do have it listed on Gunbroker and another forum.
  12. I recently purchased an SKS pictured like that one in the auction at my local gun dealer. Paid $475
  13. Real nice!!! Now how about coming to my home town and doing the same job for me
  14. Thanks for all of your comments. I got it assembled (in 5 minutes) and set up yesterday. I was able to secure it to the studs in the wall with three 4" screws and now it is solid as a rock-won't budge. Here are some photos of the bench and shelves I put up above it. At this point I haven't put on the top that I talked about. For my Lee Classic Single Stage and Lee Classic Turret I mounted them on 2" X 12" and then clamped them to the bench using 6" clamps. Will I be able to do this for the Loadmaster or will the Loadmaster need to be mounted to the bench itself? Intitially I will be usi
  15. Twinsen, Thanks for your comments. I could have built my own but I am not much of a hand at carpentry and most of what I attempt to build looks like a piece of cr*p when I finish-nothing to be proud of for sure. Anyway I plan on bolting this one to the wall to keep it steady and from moving.
  16. I have been using a reloading bench that I purchased from Harbor Freight at a very cheap price and then modified it somewhat to fit my situation. However, it isn't very sturdy-wobbles when you shake it. I have purchased a used Lee Loadmaster which will be here in a week. One of the requirements was that the work bench be steady and solid-that disqualified my bench right away. So I went to Home Deport just to look around and what to my surprise found the Workbench by Keystone for $79.95. It requires no tools for assembly. It is 5' long, 2' wide, and 36" high-all wood. It is a little narrower th
  17. You can find #1 Buck at Able Ammo and Cheaper Than Dirt.
  18. Here is the latest from K-Tel for all those gun nuts who keep a shotgun near their bed!!! Here is the link: http://www.the-backup.com/buy/commercial.php. ONLY $39.95! Get 2-one for each side of your bed!
  19. $210.00 for an 8-rd factory mag!!! JHC-that is almost 25% of the purchase price of a Saiga 12. How much are the 8-rd factory mags going for now?
  20. I haven't seen the movie yet but don't doubt your opionion. I am a Republican and didn't vote for W for his second term. He has been a very unpopular President and this alone is what is going to probably elect NOBAMA as the next POTUS of the USA as well as give control of the House and Senate to the Democrats. Nothing short of a miracle is going to change things, unfortunately. I am very fearful of the next 4-8 years under the leadership of NOBAMA and his cronies. Unfortunately the side you saw hasn't been the side he has protrayed for the past 8 years.
  21. That's what you get when you hire minimum wage workers.
