Bvamp 604
tape the next time we bomb something. I have sat and waited for the live tv feed of us bombing crap the last two times, now, and taped the "shock and awe" campain, if you want to call it that. nothing like REAL noise and a lot of it. plus it is real good to watch your enemy die on live tv. call me cruel and mean, but I throughly enjor watching mine and your enemy die. I dont believe in hell, so I dont think ill be going there, so I have a clear head on the matter, to boot. gun camera footage is good stuff too. nothing like watching some heathen be being blown to bits for real and knowing they wont see the afterlife (because I dont think there is one. believe what you will, but noone will ever convince me that it isnt something that is invented for peace of mind or to control men with. I am sorry if that offends any of you.). Leon was good for shootouts. cant remember the american theater name for it, but its a mainstream movie. you want to see something that is gun porn? go watch movies like we were soldiers or blackhawk down, or even better flags of our fathers, or even saving private ryan. those types of movies are shocking as it is, but knowing it is a depiction of real events, and showing the true horror of war and your friends dying around you in a cruel and painful way will break you of your gun porn habit. or even ask a big double u two veteran. it will make you see things in an all new light. to me? this video clip here is pretty frigging sexy and makes me smile every single time I watch it. I dont think any body really doesent realize the reality of war. most people (at least on this site) just like guns, they are great tools for defending the home or the family. thats the very reason we keep them. as for us on this site we love customising guns making them our own. and looking at pics of others gives us ideas for the customisation of our own. for me its about getting together with friends and shooting really cool guns. I just love taking people from work or church who know very little about guns or dont like them (or belive only the government should have them!) they learn that its a great sport and changes their mind on the situation. as a combat veteran i understand that if we dont fight for our freedom we lose it so go and buy as many military arms as possible! thanks SPC Mallard

rwsackett 0
I too enjoy watching combat footage of the enemy "getting theirs". I really enjoyed (generally) reality based flicks "Saving Private Ryan", "Black Hawk Down" and especially " We Were Soldiers". Also love Viet Nam and WWII actual footage. Don't like to see Americans hurt or killed, but if you see real footage of Pearl Harbor it's almost impossible not to get seriously pissed at the Japanese. I also agree with your ideas Combat Medic. It's good to show that most of the time guns are a helpful and enjoyable tool...so stock up on 'em.

vjor 2
B you talking about Leon the professional with jean Reno, were the guy is a pro killer? And yes band of brothers, saving private Ryan, Blackhack down, we were Soldiers, they kind of show how things can be bad in the real life, I mean people die in real life now if you want to see ok movies with guns, like Man on fire, sniper the first movie, platoon, Ronin, open range, enemy at the gates, the beast and some other ones that I forgot the names. SuAside 2
HEAT had badass shootouts. Michael Mann is clearly a gun enthousiast. Due to him, Andy McNab was technical weapons training adviser on Heat. Andy a British Special Air Service Sergeant that you probably know from the Bravo Two Zero book he wrote. The cast also had to undergo all out weapons training to be allowed to work on the movie.

(yup, I am someone that is very familiar with the term "hate") Bvamp, First let me say I'm sorry and I feel that perhaps that "Gun Porn" was an inappropriate term for me to use. I enjoy looking at guns, mine, yours, on this sight, or in the case of this thread on film or tv. As far as the war movies, I had the honor of sitting next to Clay Reeves, a Cpl. in the USMC who actually was in the battle of iwo jima ( pulled 2 purple hearts and 3 silver stars. ) for the film flags of our fathers. As far as the tragic human Irony that you can see on films such as we were solders, I was privy to whiteness "the highway of death" first hand - 5 miles of of humans "frozen" in time, many still griping steering wheels. I would like to add that no film captures the smell of charred human flesh. they were not pretty like the people you see in funeral homes. Even though I celebrated in the defeat of my enemy. it was horrible to whiteness up close. That in mind please know that when I use the term "Gun Porn" I was referring to say the SPAS 12 in terminator or the M-14s used on the A-Team". I was not referring to "violence porn" or "irony porn" as I have had my share of both not on the silver screen but in real life. Please know I meant no offense and if you ever want to get together and watch tapes of shock and awe, I'd be happy to cook up burgers! I as well enjoy watching our boys (and girls) do their jobs better than anyone else!
Bvamp 604
I know what you meant. I should have clarified that the best gun porn is the real stuff. there are not very many movies out now that use real blanks anymore and record the actual gunfire. not that all that I mentioned above do so. as far as watching tapes of shock and awe over burgers, that would be great and everything, but keep in mind when you watch that footage with your subwoofer turned all the way up, which one has to do to fully appreciate it, it REALLY sounds like someone is bombing the neighborhood. I woke the neighborhood up watching it live the night it went down. its too bad there is the idiot newscaster flapping most the time after the first salvo or two that we all remember as one of saddam's main palaces and government complexes getting thoroughly leveled in about ten to twenty seconds. SuAside 2
I'll go with the remote control cannon in 'The Jackal'. OH man.....I forgot about that work of art... not really special, is it? except it was a do-it-yourself job, but nowadays all big gun developers have remote operation turrets like that (like the FN Arrows weapon system). Is LEON (the Pro.) the flick with Natalie Portman when she was like 12.wasn't there some STRANGE love relationship in that between her and the main guy? well, she saw him as a partner (in all the meanings of the word), he saw her as a daughter.
