But my neighbor said that the census had come to his door asking a bunch of weird questions, which he refused to answer. The census isn't until next year! Turns out, these guys are from Obama's privately owned organization ACORN. They are entering your house into a GPS unit. One came to my door yesterday, and I told them to leave before I call the sheriff, and have them arrested. Anyone here have these people come to your door? I only find a fine of NO MORE than $100 in the actual US Code about the census... Washington TIMES is generally a center-right leaning paper, not bad IMHO. The Washington POST is best used for wrapping fish, kindling, packing materiel , or most properly, emergency toilet paper. I wouldn't worry about GPS anything....have you seen google earth recently? in my area, there are pictures of your home on google earth, and not from above, actually pictures of your front door ect. Households that still do not respond will be called or visited by a Census worker. (Census workers can be identified by a census badge and bag.) I think there was some fraud in the last census, many people including my parents never received census paperwork and were never visited. The last item in the rules is very important, if someone comes to your place stating that they work for the census, demand to see their badge. If they can't produce one, call the police. Give them info that will skew their "facts" ;-) "Yes, we have 22 white fundamentalist zealots living here, etc. etc. You can imagine up some great things Im sure :-) Have fun, Harv P.S. if people would quit cooperating with all the random telephone, shopping mall surveys out there (which are overwhelmingly used for purely political purposes), then their work will increasingly be viewed as not reliable and useless by the power structure.
