22_Shooter 1,560
Holy shit. Look at all that blood pouring out of her nose/mouth. What were they doing pushing on her chest? Trying to apply pressure to stop bleeding or something?
Bayoupiper 738
Looks like she had a wound there that they were trying to cover. That would also be consistent with the blood from her mouth. Not too often you actually get to see one die on camera. And for what? Watching an election protest................... Wotan1105 7
Yeah I heard she got shot in the chest and one of the guys there was a doctor. Quite a few videos like that out there but that is probably the most powerful. These are not election protests anymore. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h2igpSxdjX8 heard they were dumping water from helicopters with CR mixed with it Pictures galore http://www.flickr.com/photos/fhashemi/show/ Good site for the blogs/news there if you don't feel like weeding through twitter http://andrewsullivan.theatlantic.com/the_daily_dish/ Edited June 21, 2009 by Wotan1105
Vultite 57
looks like they are trying to pump the blood outta her so she dies faster? CPR doesn't help trauma victims 99.9% of the time. Edited June 21, 2009 by Vultite

Oh and why have I not seen these videos on the news? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CR_gas Nothing can really be confirmed but quite a few reports of chemical burns that weren't from tear gas. Also heard boiling water was being dropped from helicopters but could be talking about the same thing. Reporters have been arrested and they're tracking down the people posting on twitter, etc.. It's nuts over there. Next day or two should be very interesting. The Army isn't getting involved, and the police are 50/50. Another good video, BBC had or has someone there http://www.bbc.co.uk/persian/iran/2009/06/...t_clashes.shtml Fucking crowd drives back the riot police with stones. Europe goes, semi Conservative, Iran has a popular apparently secular attempted revolution, Bush gets zero credit(of course) and WE elect the most Leftist president ever............. Liveleak has tons of vids from Iran the last few days. Some powerful stuff.

yakdung 2,926
Thanks for posting the photos. The more they are passed around the globe the better. It would seem to me the Iranian people need a means of defending themselves other than throwing rocks and bottles. Yakdung

The Basij/Revolutionary Guard are the ones doing most all the bad stuff. Wish it was easier to follow but the only place I've been getting info from is twitter. Tried watching the news yesterday but they are doing a poor job of doing the same thing. Was a big explosion at a Basij HQ, apparently they had barricaded themselves inside and someone unhooked/blew up the gas line. And you've got terrorists hiding amongst the protesters, security people logging on and using arrested peoples accounts online. Hell it's like keeping up with all the stuff the Obama Administration does on any given one day. With a story as big as this I thought Geraldo would be crawling over the Iranian border on his belly to get inside for a story. Good thing all the young people have cell phones and cameras. http://current.com/items/90246122_basij-mi...-set-ablaze.htm http://www.monitter.com/ Edited June 21, 2009 by Wotan1105

Reverendfranz 160
In your update, which, by the way, i thank you for, you said that there are terrorists hiding amongst the protesters, but this is a clear contradiction of terms, as Protesters are Terrorists, by the definition of both Iran, and the US. Perhaps you meant Islamic pro-state militia members hiding among protesters? Better ask the pentagon: http://open.salon.com/blog/dennis_loo/2009...level_terrorism

Better ask the pentagon: http://open.salon.com/blog/dennis_loo/2009...level_terrorism Ooops my bad, there are rumored to be Government Security Personnel dressed in plain clothes and hiding out among the Right-wing Extremists. Were worried some were going to start man-caused disasters and blame them on the Right-wing Extremists. Sucks back to work today so haven't been able to follow the news at all. Google updating their images slowly after being bombarded by requests.. http://google-latlong.blogspot.com/2009/06...for-tehran.html Good update of whats been going on... http://iran.whyweprotest.net/news-current-...-5-niteowl.html Twitter from 6/21.. http://obama.newstweeters.com/2009/06/21/6...told-in-tweets/ Nokia responded to accusations it had provided the Iranian Government with access to track people online, etc.. They denied it said they had only given them the ability to lawfully monitoring local voice calls. And sounds like the UK and other Embassies are going to start pulling their people out of Iran to send a statement. Sounds like there are more helicopters police and Basij on the streets today than ever before but people still trying to get out http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp.../437836/1/.html and also read the girl that was shot her fiance said the family is being denied the right to have a public memorial service for her. Lots going on thats just in five minutes of reading twitter. Edited June 22, 2009 by Wotan1105

waltham_41 52
I guess that is one thing you have to give this country, even in a hotly debated election, things didn't get that bad. And many others through out the years have been beaten protesting for their Constitutional rights.

I guess we do still have things that place us above many of the other countries on the planet. How is that a good thing? do we have anything less concern over our future or freedom? I guess the way we avoid situations like that is to avoid ever letting a real freedom candidate come in anywhere near second.

Agreed, I'm getting sick of seeing this militia, omg the new world order, world net daily bullshit. Last thing we need on our firearms enthusiast board that occasionally holds political discussions is to be branded some weirdo militia site and end up on some watch list thanks to a few tards.
