I'm thinking about pushing myself to get better with square wave tig and make a aluminum skeleton thumbhole stock... Its your money man, do whatever makes you happy with it. As far as framing it and never cashing it, i wouldn't do that, thats a waste. At least buy a really nice wall hanger(gun), or a painting or something. that check if not cashed just means they get thier money back, and i'm sure you can find better uses for it then they can. You could even write it off as a charitable donation... to Guns for Gimps!(If I had the time and $ I'd make it an official charity), but hey, for a Saiga 12 I could probably put it together. Then I could just set it up with a drum mag and put a turret mount on my wheelchair, that would be handi! Oh, BTW, Hi!
