MD Arms, Ltd 1919-A4 belt-fed semi auto

Recommended Posts

I was just curious if anyone might be interested in a limited run of MD Arms semi-auto 1919-A4 Brownings in .308? These would be built by us using like new Israeli parts kits. I have a source for a small number of kits at a good price. The work would be top quality and completely refinished.

I am thinking a production run of around 15 to 20 guns. I am going to try and hit a price of around $1000 each if I decide to do it. We would be able to build these fairly quickly.

I could also offer a Full Auto with a demo letter.

Yes, please keep us posted.

I'm really new to the browning, what would be the benifit/value of buying a complete one from you as opposed to buying all the parts kits and such?

Would a tripod be included?

Very cool gun, and in .308 so I don't have to get more ammo.

Cons - very large, tough to hide from wife.

Whoa whoa whoa, a 1919 for only $1,000? Isn't that like... really really cheap?

I'd reallllllly like to get a 1919a6, with the stock and the bipod. I don't know if those are just parts you add or what the deal is.

Any chance of getting one in 7.62x54R? Like many here, I have lots and lots of 7.62x54R but near zilch on .308. I can afford the rifle but not the ammo to feed it properly :(

I have never seen one in 7.62x54R That conversion kit is 550.00 it's self

I have seen them with a very short barrel that would spit flames. I have always wanted to know if you could build one as a pistol if the side plate was ran as one. I just found a copy of a ATF letter that says any barrel length can go on a 1919 because it was not a rifle  I would right and get my own letter before doing so. Bench rest hand gun :killer: 7.62x54R would dry up the ammo and sell like crazy.

This is very interesting. Seems a little sketchy though. If someone did do this, definately get your own letter. And it would be smart not to even own a A6 stock for a Browning...

mike, ya gave me the 1919 bug bad, ive already located a few parts kit and today or tomorrow may go ahead and buy everything to do it, and at the price you offered it seems like no profit margin at all, before assemble and rivet and park and everything im sitting at 800
