I see some cussin edited, but I can post it readily.... why not just turn on the cuss filter instead of editing it when its seen? or am I missing something here? A "cursing filter" is just plain annoying and I know I'm pretty new around here, but I think that turning one on would detract from the rather unique and refreshing atmosphere this site has. You wanna turn this place into THR? No fucking thanks. Besides, if it's turned on, people will just find ways around it. Does the occasional curse word offend the tender, precious widdle sensibilities of our business members? LOL its not the vast majority that is the problem. its WHERE and HOW it shows up that is and always has been a minor issue. that was kinda why Max hid the trash can, and passworded the fight club to begin with. Im not the only one that saw a couple cusses that got edited, is why I brought the matter up. And for the record, this entire site is every vendor's "Section". google saiga 12 and tell me what comes up first. *I* was the one that got to explain to the good Christian Mrs Vicki Cole, the questions that a number of customers had called up and made her aware of.....that we were on a site that promotes pornography, foul language, and a host of other "non-cool" stuff, that a great many people out there find very offensive.....It was kinda embarrassing, actually, that discussion......I have had it before with other reputable members of the firearms industry, as well, and really havent developed much of a taste for it, either. I am not pushing for censorship, I was just asking if this was something that is going to happen, has happened, or what is up; after seeing some cusses edited with ****'s ...put a few more words in my mouth, why dont ya. The truth is, it's attitudes and egos that are more of a problem than someone saying "fuck" every now and then. Just to be clear, that is not directed at any one person, it's just a general observation that applies equally to me. Regardless, I enjoy this site because of the freedom we have here. On other sites you can hardly mention that a woman is attractive or have a serious disagreement without the mods having to step in. I don't like being treated as a child and I'm sure the last thing the mods want to do is babysit more than they have to now.
