My Previous Military Experience is as an: 0331 Marine Infantry Machingunner 8 years 5811 Military Police Specialist 2 years like im wondering did they make u take the asvab againand decide from that? I don't think so. They should be using the shit out of me where i'm needed. I scored fucking awesome! i re-did after 11 years...before i had a 61..........GT score of 117 yet i barely got my diploma from an alternative deliquent school.....hmmm I re-did asvab 2 months ago and got a 89! my GT score is 124....that and my other scores which are all 120s put me in the running for anything Yet. They came back with 3 MOS's.....19D, 88M, 92W I read on-line stars and stripes, and army times state these as most needed E-5/Sgt MOS's...ah hah! this has to be why......also. i read on some forums as to why 77W..now 92W waterboys don't stick around after 4/6 years.....the Money on the outside....same as EOD, and others.... I said 19D cav Scout sounds like me. Now riddle me this Recruiters. Why are 19D getting fucked and being sent to straight-leg units? Because 19D and 11M are similar. So go to school for Armor, yet go to a grunt unit as an 11...wtf My response......If I wanted to run straight for the rocketfire, and ripping of flesh with steel....I would have stayed in the Corps. I am not joining the Army with the lack of sight to be just a Grunt in the Army......Marine Infantry to me is the best. I'll remember those days. I don't wanna sell myself short. I saw those guys on patrol in Iraq. Not thier fault. their leadership They leaders aren't Marines....nuff said. 88M Motor Transport Operator.................ummm...no...lol 92W Water Treatment Fag......there has to be a reason why I have heard nothing about this one...and it isn't cuz it is so hard, or it sucks......probably cuz these guys aren't accounted for..they are at the beach...lol Anyway. I have to tell you all. If you haven't spent a day being in the military. You only know what impresses you. I no longer need to impress my father, or my lame ass friends who are doing even less than me. I'm a grown-up now. And I would like an actual career(whatever that is) when I retire in 10 years at 39 years old. This Waterboy shit appears to have a significant civilian counterpart. Good Fucking Money. Something no-one in my family of cops, and military have ever had....... Hell. Been fucking waiting forever( 5 months) for these fucks to get me in! I get so pissed seeing how recruiters are whining about quotas, and enlistments being at an all-time low....It's on every T.V. channel. I personally know 3 people just out of active that want back in....but they saw my tribulations, and are seriously not wanting to go through all the prior service bullshit.....For them. It would take as much time to land a decent civilian job. I seriously went through more crap trying to go directly back in......then when I was a boot the first time! Fucking stupid! Lots of decent hard-working prior service that looked for the greener grass. Wanted back in( during this crazy combat-filled time), and got so dicked on waiting they called these recruiters up, and said "just forget it"... I think thats sad.... What if a person just got out? Hasn't had one criminal, or any change in their life? Should they be substituted to this bullshit process? Everyone I spoke to said.."uh". I don't know" I've never dome a prior service package before" Well." Not one that didn't have the applicant quit waiting before it came back"...WTF? What do you guys think? Two things to remember though (if you still catch this that is) is that in the Army you roll the sleeves up *AND THEN* fold the top part over on the BDU top in the summer months (not that fu*ked up just fold them straight up Marine way of doing things). I was going to point out the BDU cap, but now since you all will be wearing those fake ass "ghey" Ranger wanna be black berets which (if not put on correctly) look as stupid to me as that whole Pillsbury Doughboy Jarhead thing the Marines have had going for the last couple of decades. What do you want to wear a hat so high for, so maybe the enemy accidentally frags it instead of you while you are sitting in the foxhole somewhere? If you gotta take a shit or pee-pee in the Army, you go to the bathroom or to the shit tent out in the field, not to the *HEAD* (otherwise the unit fairy (if there is one?) might follow you in there). And if you forget and he does (and he outranks you by much), remember it's a "no ask, no tell" Military out there now thanks to William Jefferson BJ. Naw, I'm just f**kin' with you Dodgie. Like you would really need any saltpeter with the female boars the Army usually recruits (at least in my day). Of course with "internet cafe's" seeming to be standard issue on military bases nowadays (what'sthedealwiththatshit? ), maybe a green recruit would sue if the triple latte expresso he ordered tasted funny because of the saltpeter in it and damaged his ability to fully trust again? Hell, in my day, if you wanted to contact somebody, it usually meant standing in line for thirty minutes for a crackly MARS satellite call that might not make it through or (if stateside) trying to talk on a payphone handset that someone blew chunks in or jacked off while holding. You can go two routes of employment. 1st: you can get your water/waste water treatment license and make good money as there is a shortage of wtp operators here. 2nd: You can use your military police background to get into any law enforcement but look into Florida Marine Patrol.
