Militia radio 404d

NOW THIS is reported to be what was posted there last night BEFORE the 404

[04:13] mark_Koernke_ I just left a shouting match about 20 minutes ago with a little over a hundred militiamen who are on the move right now. The arguement was over not if but rather where to hit them. Trying to calm them down was useless and they are not going to let this lie. They will identify the straglers or pickets first and wipe them out. By what the radiio crew said the recon teams have all of the hiddy holes

[04:14] mark_Koernke_ …IDed for those they moved in and the group is infiltrating to site as we speak. I hope the locals are smart enough to step out of the way.

[04:16] mark_Koernke_ this is interesting for we may have live vids from the epicanter as it developes.

[04:16] mark_Koernke_ …epicenter…

[04:34] mark_Koernke_ sorry about that , just got off one of our back up phones with another militia unit commander. His first comment was “Well Mark, I guess that we aren’t going to chirch this morning.”

[04:35] mark_Koernke_ He then told me that as he was packing up his LBE and weapons into the armored truck he has that he asked his wife to bring the congregation together to say a prayer for the militia that may be going to war this sunday.”

[04:37] mark_Koernke_ His wife was crying in the background(I could hear her) and he said he had kissed his children good by and was now going out the door. He is a two war vet and young. He has killed many times before and she knows his moods

[04:39] mark_Koernke_ she is a good woman with two young sons. they are all supportive of the militia.

[04:40] mark_Koernke_ By what I understand the unit commander on the ground and the coordinator is the 4th RCT CMM second company commander. Good man and level headed.

[04:41] mark_Koernke_ He put out a notice that if they decide to attack they will not talk to the other side before hand or try to “talk things down” He is a good warrior and a BULL HEAD. I do not think that he will take ANY prisoners either

[04:42] mark_Koernke_ He was there in 1972 for the second tet offensive

I'm not sure what to think. I DID NOT EMBED THE VIDEO BECAUSE...there are a lot of video response with relevant information.

God help us.

This is the latest I heard.

Looks to be (at this point) that Hutaree was the only group involved. It also looks to be associated with home made explosives, and if so, they deserved to get picked up. This is why we have STRICT rules about such brain dead actions such as that. I again will re-enforce that any dealings in explosives or illegal weapons are strictly forbidden under Light Foot policies. If you feel the need to do such a stupid thing do not associate with us or attend our meetings. If we find out you are engaged in such activity you will be turned in without delay.

See the story below…

Read past the beginning to what is being attributed to Hutaree members comments.

There were a flury of emails this morning many with links to places like fox news and local news stuff.

Had to google that one since I know militias are forbidden in WA. Interesting page, I like how their oath is the Code of Conduct, including all the stuff that doesn't apply to an un-uniformed person. Probably wasn't worth getting flagged to view the website.

Pipe bombs? sheesh! You'd think the Feds could come up with a better reason... They either use pipe bombs or kiddie porn almost all the time!

I wonder how many dogs died in the raid?

Started as pipe bombs, then switched story to threatening muslims, now weapon related charges.

Soooooooo......... which is it?!?!?

Add to that... The stated initial "probable cause" stems from the "welfare check" producing a warrant based on "explosive materials" being spotted.

Where's the fourth amendment?

Oops- I shouldn't be saying that... Dangerous times for those that know the Constitution, and love it.

Gotta go build a doggy panic room JIC there's a no-knock around here. No thumbs means she can't shoot back.

I wonder how these guys got taken without incident? Nothing but fishy odors coming out of MI right now.

US militia members charged in anti-police plot

WASHINGTON (AP) _ Nine suspects tied to a Christian militia in the Midwest are charged with conspiring to kill police officers, then attack a funeral in the hopes of killing more law enforcement personnel, U.S. prosecutors said Monday.

U.S. Attorney Barbara McQuade said agents moved on the group because the Hutaree members were planning a violent reconaissance mission sometime in April _ just a few days away.

Members of the group called Hutaree are charged in the case, including their leader, David Brian Stone, also known as ``Captain Hutaree.''

Once other officers gathered for a slain officer's funeral, the group planned to detonate homemade bombs at the funeral, killing more, according to newly unsealed court papers.

According to the indictment, the idea of attacking a police funeral was one of numerous scenarios discussed as ways to attack police. Other scenarios included a fake emergency phone call to lure an officer to his or her death, or an attack on the family of a police officer.

After such attacks, the group allegedly planned to retreat to ``rally points'' protected by trip-wired improvised explosive devices, or IEDs, for what they expected would become a violent standoff with law enforcement personnel.

``It is believed by the Hutaree that this engagement would then serve as a catalyst for a more wide-sread uprising against the government,'' the indictment charges.

The indictment includes charges of seditious conspiracy, possessing a firearm during a crime of violence, teaching the use of explosives, and attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction _ homemade bombs.

The indictment charges members of the group conspired ``to levy war against the United States, (and) to oppose by force the authority of the government of the United States.''

The charges follow FBI raids over the weekend on locations in the Midwest states of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.

According to investigators, the Hutaree view local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel as a ``brotherhood'' and an enemy, and planned to attack them as part of an armed struggle against the U.S. government.

Eight suspects have been arrested by the FBI, and one more is being sought. Of the eight captured, seven are due in court later Monday.

Andrew Arena, head of the FBI's field office in Detroit, said the case ``is an example of radical and extremist fringe groups which can be found throughout our society. The FBI takes such extremist groups seriously, especially those who would target innocent citizens and the law enforcement officers who protect the citizens of the United States.''

On its Web site, Hutaree quotes several Bible passages and states: ``We believe that one day, as prophecy says, there will be an Anti-Christ. ... Jesus wanted us to be ready to defend ourselves using the sword and stay alive using equipment.''

The group did not return an e-mail sent by The Associated Press and phone numbers for the group's leadership were not immediately available.

Law enforcement swarmed a rural, wooded property Saturday evening near Adrian, about 70 miles (112 kilometers) southwest of Detroit.

Two ramshackle trailers sat side-by-side on the property, the door to one slightly ajar late Sunday as if it had been forced open.

Phyllis Brugger, who has lived in the area for more than 30 years, said some people who lived there were known as having ties to militia. They would shoot guns and often wore camouflage, according to Brugger and her daughter, Heidi Wood.

``Everybody knew they were militia,'' Brugger said. ``You don't mess with them.''

In Hammond, Ind., 18-year-old George Ponce, who works at a pizzeria next door to a home that was raided, said he and a few co-workers stepped outside for a break Saturday night and saw a swarm of law enforcement.

``I heard a yell, 'Get back inside!' and saw a squad member pointing a rifle at us,'' Ponce said. ``They told us the bomb squad was going in, sweeping the house looking for bombs.''

He said another agent was in the bushes near the house, and law enforcement vehicles were ``all over.'' He estimated that agents took more than two dozen guns from the house.

In Ohio, one of the raids occurred at Bayshore Estates, a well-kept trailer park in Sandusky, a small city on Lake Erie between Toledo and Cleveland. Neighbors said the man taken into custody lived in a trailer on a cul-de-sac with his wife and two young children.

huh?

From the Washington State Constitution

SECTION 24 RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS. The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired, but nothing in this section shall be construed as authorizing individuals or corporations to organize, maintain or employ an armed body of men.

Pretty fuckin' stupid if you ask me.

exactly what the democrats need right now..

1st- crazy right wingers to focus public animosity against

2nd- attempt to start an uprising crushed

3rd- no deaths, no martyrs

This falls right into their laps.. I don't see how it could have been anymore perfect for them.. Also happened in a place where it was unlikely to gain support before resolution- what if this had happened in Texas? Basically just gave a face to right wing opposition: incompetent funeral bombing nutjobs who achieve nothing.

Having said that, I reckon it's probably true.. we're a big country, with lots of crazies, I'm not really suprised, but it is damned convenient for the libs. Gonna get them support and make repealing their bullshit harder. Morons hurt their own side more than anyone else.

Yeesh, guys, don't be so credulous. This could be true, but it has not been proven yet. Additionally, the feds have a track record of lying about these things when it suits them, and of persecuting strange (but ultimately harmless) people. Let it play out. I'm curious how many more times the story will change.
