zenman223 460
I said it when the story broke, those assholes tried to inflate the number of guns going to mexico so they could say "we need more gun laws so this dont happen" but since the whole thing blew up they'll end up spinning into "we need more gun laws so this dont happen" . And now their working on it!! Holder should be charged with accessory to MURDER!!
Reverendfranz 160
and yet they were the ones buying guns, in person, with taxpayer cash. http://www.scribd.com/doc/66315131/Voth-Straw-Purchase-Authorization the full story is even more fucked up
timy 1,185
Actually, better politicians would have stopped "Fast & Furious" from ever being launched in the first place. Obviously that's asking way too much from the incompetent mental midgets who are running this country into the ground. This is pathetically similar to when Bill Clinton was caught taking illegal foreign campaign contributions and responded "We need more laws to keep this from happening."

Good point, I guess he must be referring to laws that would put him, Obama, and several other top chronies in jail. Maybe the law is working a little better than he had hoped.

going12220 125
When you have an epic fail at enforcing the laws on the books, do you really need more things to fail at? Seems kind of funny their interested in more and more gun laws but have no desire to do anything about 12,000,000 illegal’s in the country. Maybe if they all had guns?
Joseph 141
it's actually a true if you think about it though, They sold guns into mexico as a sham crisis so they could enforce stronger gun laws on the american people so if, americans had already had the gunless society they want to force on us, they would have never committed F&F so really, its our fault not Eric Holder or his handler the Chosen One Edited October 19, 2011 by Joebanks

theturtlepond 31
Does anybody have some suggestions for what us citizens should do about this? Seems like a shitty situation for gun owners (aka. people that want to protect themselves from criminals and foreign invasions).
sam .223 3
i would love to see someone ask Holder how he thinks better/more gun laws would stop this when the ones making and enforecing the laws are the ones breaking them, how exactly would that work.

Seems kind of funny their interested in more and more gun laws but have no desire to do anything about 12,000,000 illegal’s in the country. Maybe if they all had guns? Well, yes. We need one more law passed and only one. After that Congress could be disbanded. It's simple really, just pass a law that would make politicians subject to the same laws they so flippantly and casually inflict on the rest of us. Then they would go to prison for theft from taxpayers, not paying their own taxes, money laundering, lying under oath, accepting bribes, and on and on and on. Exactly when was it that they became above the laws they love so dearly? These scumbags are supposed to serve the public, not oppress them, not rule them. Of course this law would obviously have to be passed and enforced by the citizenry rather than by American Royalty.

Donkeyshins 87
I think that legalizing and taxing drugs in the US (to take the steam out of the cartels) would do much more to curb violence in the border areas of Mexico than restricting firearms. Besides, there are a ton of surplus AKs and ARs in Central America from all the brushfire wars in the 70s and 80s (El Salvador and Nicaragua spring to mind).

MT Predator 2,294
I read some of the weapons recovered were M-16s in which the serial numbers were traced to rifles that were reported lost in Vietnam. That sure has a lot to do with loose fucking gun laws!
