ultimatetaba 1
I was taking apart my gun today to familiarize myself with it (just picked it up after the 10 day wait). After I had everything put back together, I found this piece on the floor. Not sure what it is or where it goes. Can somebody help me out and let me know where it goes please? Shandlanos 1,470
No part from an AK. Looks like it could be an oddball cleaning jag? That must be from something other than your rifle.
imarangemaster 315
Definitely not a Saiga piece!
G O B 3,516
Not a Saiga part.
hutchsaiga 93
You're rifle is better off without it haha Edited November 29, 2011 by hutchsaiga
Gunfanatic 221
Looks like a jag. Try seeing if it will thread into the cleaning rod.
imarangemaster 315
I figured out what it is. It is a jag for a lead remover. A screen goes over it and the rubber holds it tight into the bore. I knew it looked familiar.
ultimatetaba 1
Wheww! Glad to know. I took the thing apart and put it back together 3x and I couldn't find ANY appropriate spot for it. Just found it weird for some foreign object to be laying on the floor. The gun seemed to function properly and all without it, but just wanted to make sure before going out and ruining my new baby lol. Thanks VERY much for the reassurance. I feel much much better now Oh also, it may be noteworthy to mention this piece is minuscule. For reference: Edited November 29, 2011 by ultimatetaba
Shandlanos 1,470
So, part of a .22 lead remover. Another case solved by the S-12 community.
ultimatetaba 1
Hmmm...maybe it fell out of one of my gear bags from a cleaning kit that I have? Regardless, thanks again for the help
