  1. I've been nervous about what I ordered from JG Sales on the 17th after reading the horror stories. I apparently bought some of the infamous Korean magazines! Well, they were dirt cheap - around $13 a piece. They came, I never had a chance to disassemble one and check it out until today. I took some photos that I'll attach. I have to say that I am pretty impressed by what I see. I don't have any of my other mags laying around to compare them to, but for what I paid I think I'm pretty happy. They appear to be stamped pretty well. Spot welds look good and there are plenty. The mag spri
  2. How is this tinfoil? It is based on declassified government documents. The government has secretly been fucking over the US citizens for a long time. Ever hear of the Gulf of Tonkin incident?
  3. I replaced the front sight blocks on both of my rifles. Carefully cut the old ones off, and replaced with the 74 style with 24mm threads. I've read on here multiple times that they need pinning, and that press fitting them on will only be temporary until the barrel heats up and they fly off with my brake installed. So - who has done this before? Are there any step by step pictorials on how to do this? The front sights that I bought don't have any holes drilled in them where the pins would go. Do I install the sight, than drill the holes, or should I drill them with the sight off the r

  7. OK, just one thing to clarify. I removed the factory site block and installed a 74 by press fitting it on (its not pinned).
  8. I think my front site block is canted a little. Is there a safe / easy way to correct the slight cant without damaging the FSB?
  9. bump up - did anything ever happen with this? found the manufacturer: http://www.fort.vn.ua/en/products/weapon-accessories/gas-tube-with-picatinny-rail.html
  10. Moar panty shots please!!
  11. I would think that if it does affect accuracy, you could adjust the front sight. Otherwise, it may affect grouping repeatability. But if that is a concern, than better ammo may help more.
  12. Anyone know what the guy had mounted on the bottom of the rail?? That looked pretty interesting...
  13. All you guys are forgetting a few things. #1 - they can ban the use of lead in bullets, making ammo prohibitively expensive for the average joe. #2 - they can go back to the Clinton days and ban high capacity magazines.... Ammo really really expensive or no way to effectively dump countless rounts down-range = bumpfire that's worthless.
