  1. I have been toying with the idea of putting together an AR-15 and came accros this barrel on bunbroker. http://gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=80262095 It looks promising but i would like to know how it shoots from someone first hand, anyone have it ?
  2. they just opend rifle this year in my county here in ny, so i will be using my s308. Im pritty excited i never thought they would open rifle around here.
  3. What? I'm sorry but I don't get what your going at. All the triggers in my converted saigas feel the same. You are not keeping that extended trigger or linkage when you do the conversion. You replace it with a much better trigger. You apparently know how to polish the group so polishing a better trigger then the stock one works even better. the differnce in triggers is like night and day. The rifles and shotguns also balence better as well. I will admit the saiga 308 is a little more front heavy. but this is true reguardless of the conversion or not. Basically I'm telling you to shoot
  4. It looks like Centerfire Systems has them for $330, I recall seeing them cheaper somewhere else recently though. yea it was AIM they are $290 good luck

  8. i hate miller light and most other light beers. other than that i will drink about anything blue moon is awsome as long as they don't put the frigin frute in it, labat blue is a good one, red dog is nice and smooth, molson is delectiable, and becks is a wise choice... o yea tiquila gets me going sometimes too lol any of you guys ever have woodchuck ?
  9. I have the same problem with brass from my saiga 223. But it reloaded just fine, all i needed to do was give my nifty lee chamfer tool a few turns in the primer pocket that solved the problem. Hopefully you can do the same. Anyone have any idea y they put this little tit on the bolt face? Maybe so it can't be reloaded, or for a better seal around the primer. black dog if you find this brass useless i would gladly take it off your hands =)

  14. I have done all kinds of crap - fast food - construction (few years) - hardware store ( I hated that place the smell makes me sick) - I worked on a commercial fishing boat last year ( scallops, outside of Ocean City MD) - Now I work with people who have developmental disabilities I was going to school for engineering but that was put on hold so I could pay off some bills, I will start back up in a year or so. I would like to be a professor and build custom rifles in the end

  16. The rear sight is typical German engineering which means you just can't twist here and there to bring things into alignment. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and elevation. Windage is adjusted by loosening the large set screw you can see at the top rear of the sight then using a screwdriver to turn a smaller screw on the right sight of the sight. This will move the sight left or right. As for elevation, there is a special HK tool (or you can use a pair of needle nose pliars) that slips over the drum and down onto the base which disengages the locking tabs thus enabling you to turn
  17. How do you adjust these things for elevation? Do they have to be set up just right?
