Ok, thanks for the info. I found Bvamp's explanation of it and it looks like you have to be a "Business Member" to edit your posts. So it looks like the idea of this thread will not work unless one of the mods update it.

I believe its the S20K in Bad Company, although in Battlefield 2 the S12K is available to the demo class. Some form of the Saiga shotgun will probably be in BF:BC2. Lets hope its a Tromix with a drum . You are right. I was playing it last night and it is a S20K. Still not a Saiga 12 though but cool none-the-less. It is fun to use in BF:BC but it is not as strong as some of the others in the game which takes some of the fun out of it. I just hope an S12 is in the new Modern Warfare 2!

The funny thing is I have been thinking about something like this for a while, but I am still a few years away from have the machine shop up and running (fingers crossed).

Just a thought, but why not buy the Saiga now and buy a quality AR lower to finish later on? I would think you could buy the Saiga 12 since you cannot build one at this time, and if they do get banned you will have one. If you buy the AR lower, you will have the registered part of the gun and you can put it together (which is STUPID easy) after everything calms down in the gun industry. I agree the AK/ Saiga platform is very good and would make a great rifle, but if you are anything like me... you have to have an AR. They are just to dang cool not to.

So did we establish if the "Vodka Specials" have three small holes, two holes (like mine), seven holes, holes that spell HOPE or CHANGE? It seemed a little vague to me. I personally am looking at having a VS as a good thing... I got one with a "Russian military" barrel! Not everyone can say that!

I would give them a call to see how busy they are, but I would figure 3-4 weeks door to door with shipping time depending on where you are located. As I understand, they do warranty work on Mondays. I sent mine off on the 4th, it arrived on the 11th and I am hoping it got some more holes in it today!

I had to send mine off also, right after I bought it. Mine was a "Vodka Special" and I never had the chance to shoot it even. When you do send it in however, Vicki told me they test function with the cheapo ammo to make sure it should work with anything. I look at it this way, when I get it back... I know it has functioned with the absolute basic ammo you can put in it so anything I do to it from here on out should (hopefully) make it work better!
