  1. +1 Yep, I was going to say something, I'm glad you did. Just because it's made to store dino spunk instead of pot, cash, whatever..... it's still a stash can.
  2. I was looking at some Blazer I saw on a back shelf and was thinking about buying it. What's the story?
  3. Does the Fiocchi 00 buck fit in the MD drum?
  4. There's nothing that says you have to use sound equipment made by computer part vendors. I have a small stereo receiver sitting next to my computer and a set of speakers for it. I have the output of my sound card plugged into the Tape Monitor on the receiver. I've had friends tell me it's the best computer sound setup they've ever heard. And that's just with a small/cheap off the shelf Radio Shack receiver/speakers that's about 30 years old. Personally, I don't have the need for window rattling sound on my 'puter, but there's no reason I couldn't add a bigger receiver/amp and s
  5. So just find a Chevy dealer near a Papa Johns and test drive a new Camaro.
  6. Are you adding a channel for an O-ring?
  7. Son-of-a..... I just bought a 250 rnd case of the Wolf 00 buck. I figured that would fit fine in the drum, it's only 9 pellet, not 12 pellet like the NobelSport. Nope! So does anybody know of any good quality, full dram 00 buck that fits it the drum and doesn't require vast amounts of $$$ like the Olin military stuff?
  8. If the threads are clean, it threads in very easily. It tends to be a bit harder to turn it after a few hundred rounds and you may need a coin to turn it. Then you clean up the gas block threads with your normal gun cleaning and the plug threads easily again. That has been my experience.
  9. The Bible is a historical book (among other things), human history has been very violent.
  10. Discredits it's self to some... As it is written, their eyes will be covered as a brides with her vail, that they will not see. However I am rather well versed in Biblical Prophecy, it's kind of weird when you read something written thousands of years ago that has all of the national alliances right as they are now & speaks of current wars going the exact way ours are. Not to mention the course of the governments & the world wide depression. It lines everything up so even the simplest (but not laziest) minds can understand. In my eyes, the problem isn't the chips getting hacked, It
  11. I had a Trans Am ('81) and two new 5.0 Mustangs ('87 & '90) and liked them all. Even though I liked the Mustangs, I think I'd go another direction for a new muscle car (if I had the bucks). I've had GM & Ford muscle cars, I guess next would be Dodge. I voted Challenger...... probably a better look for an old guy trolling for younger women than a Camaro anyway....... for me I meant, not you WJ.
  12. My bet is these folks had something to do with it...... http://rosjagd.com/ EDIT: Nevermind.... my comp isn't refreshing for some reason, all I saw was the OP.
  13. Plenty of 7.62 out there, I've even seen some vendors dropping prices as many of the hoarders have had their fill. Now .45 is another story...... as is most other pistol ammo, very much in demand and somewhat scarce.
  14. That's nice ammo but as you found out (and as Twinsen said) it's too long for the drum. I have some of the same stuff and it cycles fine through the stick mags. Anybody know if the Olin Military 00 buck is standard size 2.75" and "drum-able"? EDIT: Estate slugs are cheap and run fine in the drum.

Personally I don't like these as solutions to a gas-related problem. I don't understand why. These changes can be made without voiding the warranty. If they don't work, you put the old parts back and send it in. Then all you're out is the cost of a couple of springs. The gas system should work as it's designed to. Using weaker springs to compensate for a weak gas system is not the right fix. That's kind of like tearing the seats out of a car to make it lighter to fix poor gas mileage. You fix the engine to fix the gas mileage.
  16. Several months ago there was a story posted of a Russian defending himself from an (apparently) amateur hit man. IIRC, the guy had an S12 in his truck and was able to stop the bad guy.
  17. Yeah, I guess I have a lot to learn about petty nit-picking. Thanks so much for the advice nalioth.
  18. nalioth, if you had used the search function you would have seen there are threads about this story already. lol..... the guy that bitches about reposts does a repost.
  19. Hey, now there's an idea! You are lucky they accepted returns on gun parts at all, it's not like they are running a Wallmart. Give them a chance to get to it, they may have a few other things to do besides processing parts you returned because you decided you didn't want them.
  20. How is anybody here going to help you track your package? I don't understand the point of this post........
  21. I saw somebody mention that he uses a 40W light bulb instead of the heat rod, does the same thing. I need to do one or the other in my gun cabinet. The rechargeable (bake in the oven) crystal packs are working ok in my small safe.
