  1. Whiskey = Crown Royal with a splash of ginger ale. Beer = Labatts Blue on tap. Moosehead or Fosters cans for outdoor stuff. Grolsch fliptops for special occasions. Wine = Riesling. That about covers it.
  2. Wow, this topic is a blast from the past! She settled on the Walther PK380. It's identicle to the P22 and she knows that weapon well. I'm looking to change up my carry pistol from a 1911 to a Berreta PX4 .45acp or an EAA Witness .45acp. I like the rotating barrel of the Berreta with it's recoil reduction, but those EAA's are real pretty.
  3. I have an old AMD dual core pc too (fx-60 2.8 gig, 4 gigs RAM, etc.). I put an Nvidia 210 GPU in it and run Linux Mint o.s. Linux can run great on a toaster! Doesn't need a lot of resources. For gaming you can use Steam for Linux and Desura. That CPU runs so hot, I rigged up a fish tank pump in a pickle jar with a little radiator to keep it cool! (I have a real gaming pc too, but I love my old Frankenstein!
  4. Yeah, it is Scott Andrey. I read a lot of reviews first and they were all good-except for the waiting time. He kept up via email until he cashed my check, then nothing. I didn't want to wait for the SBR stamp, but I would have had it by now!
  5. I've been looking high and low for a 16" PPS-43C barrel in 7.62x25 Tokarev and it seems no one is making them any more. I found a guy (Scott Anderson Machining) and sent him my cash. That was 8 months ago and I haven't heard from him since. I'm gonna have a local sheriff pay him a visit soon, but that's beside the point. I was going to machine and old Mosin or AK barrel, but the bullet diameters are about .005" different and accuracy would suffer. Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
  6. You're lucky, I did 18 months of federal grand jury. Every other Wednsday, luckily my work paid me for the day and I got $40 from the court house too. It wrecked my perfect attendence for 2 years though, no disiplinary but we get shares of stock for perfect attendence.
  7. Sorry I didn't reply earlier about my new look. I took a piece of sheet metal the size of a bed sheet to the skull at work. They promoted the desk jockey that ordered that shit steel. They made me take one day off. I would have been there otherwise.
  8. Shaolin monks can survive horrible conditions when they eliminate all outside interference from their lives including the urge to reproduce. This guy nailed that part.
  9. I hate to even comment on this, but my wife said to me "nearly 70 people were hit and 12 are dead, what do you think he used?" I told her at that range, it had to be an AR-15. The heavy AK-47 rounds would have killed more. I'm not going to argue rounds and guns here, just posting a reply.
  10. Spyderco or Kanetsune. Japan invented and perfected blade steel.
  11. Hind sight is always 20/20, but I carry a razor sharp Spyderco always, and I practice knife katas. I probably would have tried to close distance and de-boned him. But you never know how you will act. (The thought of slicing him up gives me a weird sense of pleasure though).
  12. I love technology, but I miss a few things as I'm sure some of you do. 1. Parking lots that were a wide, flat surface with only painted lines and no curbs and trees. Lord only knows why you would remove countless spaces for nothing more than appearance. 2. Towels and cloths made from natural materials that actually absorbed moisture and didn't just relocate it. 3. People that couldn't drive in the first place driving without a cell phone attached to their ear. That's my top 3, I want to hear yours.
  13. Boston is awesome! Have a blast. As for some of the other posts: Grunge sucked, BUT it killed glam which sucked much worse. Pantera killed grunge and single handedly restored metal to the peak of music relevance. I just saw GWAR as a 4 piece in Baltimore. Since Corey Smoot died, they are a 4 piece for this tour only. They are going to retire his character and hire a new guy later. Enjoy the show, Chille.
  14. SHOOTER! Sorry about your chicky and you. The forum is huge now, but better now that you are back.
  15. I lived 3 miles from Three Mile Island when it went weird and besides a healthy glow and a 12 fingered kid, I turned out fine!
  16. Worthington rules! (Sorry unrelated, but I am in Columbus every now and then on buisness.)
  17. I got one of those crappy scout deals on mine, I don't like it. The weight is way off and awkward. I'm going to drill and tap it and put a good scope on it. I'll put the scout scope on my .44 lever action.
  18. He's got the fundamentals correct, but he's missing key commodities: 1. Pre-64 coins. 2. T.P. 3. A hot chick!
  19. Sweet post. Amateur MMA is way better than the left jab/leg hump for points that the UFC has turned into.
  20. Indy, that was funny! I guess we're doing the fake stuff now. I was Neil Peart's drum instructor! (I look forward to creative responses)
  21. I program, operate, set up, and maintain these. CNC laser Robotic welder
  22. Don't feel bad, I've been here for years, and I always carry some warn status. My fault, I type drunk!
  23. Fight the good fight guys! Nothing deserves a beating more than cancer!
