  1. Condition white mentality can get you wounded or killed and all too often a uniform confers a sense of invulnerability and superiority. Condolences to the officers kith and kin and since "justice" can not be served to dead perps we can expect the antis to blood dance again. Anyone want to set odds on the media hyping this to the hilt?
  2. Tavor acquired with Lantac brake. FUN!

My neighbor brought his down yesterday to show me. That Sum Bitch was heavy as hell, he's changed the front grip, added holo sight and magnifier, but it just felt ass heavy as hell. Sweet shooting gun, but his was too heavy for me.

  3. And yes indeed, CNN does it again. http://buzzpo.com/cnn-caught-red-handed-sabotaging-gun-control-poll/ Unscientific, HAH. How about outright fraudulent. I wonder how many no votes were ignored. Seems that no one cares anymore that they lie, only how big the lie is.

  5. Had a couple clients get hit with this despite the precautions taken to prevent such an occurrence. Both clients had their accounting database and document files encrypted. Both had backups available but one was storing the files on a shared hard drive so the backups were encrypted as well. The client who had his backups on removable SSD drives and changed them daily was only inconvenienced for a very short time while we cleaned up the problem and restored the previous days files. The other client...Well, after dithering a day he paid the ransom and got his decryption keys about 12 hours late
  6. I quit for good with regular cigarettes four years ago. With a good dose of pneumonia breathing was a bit more of a priority. This was after being a pack a day smoker for over 30 years. Went to the electronic cigs and tried a dozen brands and styles until I found one I liked. Have not wanted a regular cigarette since I quit. Did not want to give up nicotine or the habit, just the additives and carcinogens.
  7. I ran across a very clean CZ-52 with the 9mm conversion kit included at a pawn shop for $200. No conscious thought was involved in the process. 4473 and cash were exchanged. On the way home the logical part of my mind pointed out that I already have two just like this. My response to my "inner adult" was " And your point is?" These are tools. And you can NEVER have too many tools. So my answer is no. not only no but Hell No.
  8. No, I still love the .45 and would not even suggest it is a problem. Just a bit of tongue in cheek there since the only two ND situations I had were with that caliber. Strangely enough I have carried my AMT backup in .40 for the last 15 years without any issues of any sort and it is always chambered and locked with no safety. But it is also DAO.
  9. In the space of 20 years I have had two ND's, both with duty weapons in .45 . One I will swear to as a complete mystery to me as well as two armorers who tried to duplicate the discharge. The first was absolute and complete stupidity on my part. Got home from my shift and took off the iwb holster with my Para Ordnance in it and laid it on the kitchen counter. Had dinner and carried it back to my desk to clear it and clean the lint out of it (a daily routine, it was a perfect lint magnet). Pulled it out of the holster, ejected the mag, and dropped the safety to pull the slide and clear the
  10. SGAmmo has done right by me for Tokarev and Mak (when they have it). Locally the Academy sporting goods has held the line on ammo pricing for the common stuff. I just got 2 1400 round tubs of .22LR for $60 each.
  11. Long list. I get bored easy and shifted career tracks often. These days I do corporate commo, computers and networks. The collar hasn't been used much as of late.
  12. Man has integrity, honesty and will do business with anytime! Thank you Sir.
  13. Two SGM magwells or one? If one, I will take it. Two, may take both.
  14. Excellent communication, shipped fast with tracking #, AR lower is in perfect condition. Would do business with anytime.
  15. 1975, a .22 mag I bought from a friend for $20 to go spotlighting jacks in the desert. Lots of trips out, lots of good times and fun. Never did hit a single rabbit though.
  16. If no one else has taken this I will! PM inbound!
  17. Those are the forged model? I so I'll go in for at least one, possibly 3 or 4. PM inbound.
  18. We used to be able to buy military brass for reloading. That p.o.s obummer put a stop to that and all that brass is now shipped to China as scrap metal. So your plan to get surplus ammo is never ever going to happen Well, not all of it. http://www.govliquidation.com/events?cmd=details&event=8815 Most of this is reloadable brass and mutilation is not required. Reloading anyone?
  19. Linux and Firefox. I have peace of mind and no issues.
  20. In this day and time it should be "Believe nothing you hear or see unless you witness it in person" As sad as that is, it has unfortunately become true.
  21. I like the mag release, any instructions or tutorial out there?
  22. When I log in to Amazon, I see the same recommendations I always get, lots and lots of weapon accessories, "tac" lights, lasers and such. No obvious change in the recommendations that I get. Well, other than a listing for the complete Ghost in the Shell anime series on DVD.
  23. The house rule I was always taught was 1K rounds for each weapon and an additional 1K for the rifle and pistol that are your "go to" guns. .22 on the other hand, I don't think 3 or 4 K for plinking and practice is unreasonable. If you can find any, that is.
