After my conversion I cycled the bolt 500 times during commercials while watching TV. The difference from beginng to end was alot and then I polished everything. 100 bucks in ammo or an hour of TV watching, not a hard decision to make.

I had a 223 jam the other day in my AR, dented just like that, I chucked it without even thinking about it. Why? 30 cents compared to a broken shell extraction or worse. Not that the latter is a giant concern but it's 30 cents that could turn into a bigger problem. Ever spend more money trying to save a small amount?

And the MD plug I didn't know they could be used together but I never really looked into them. ANyway if you havent shot it yet you may want to see if you have any problems before you convert it so you have a better understanding of what future problems might stem from if you have any. I no nothing about the CQC but I know that my MD plug works great.

Have you fired it yet? Checked the gas ports? and whats a CQC?

Good to hear I figured once you read up a bit you might have a better look at the ports.
