  1. Pauly re profiled my hammer
  2. my rails are fine with nothing in the gun the colt carrier slides on the rails with ease. as for the extractor slot i assumed that was only for FTF problems wich i did have and i did do that to the extractor slot and it cured all my FTF problems but i have FTE problems. and as for fouling i dont have that problem at all sure it gets dirty but there are almost never any particles in the gasblock and every time i check the ports are always clear. as for DLT i tried what you said and only resistance i get is with the hammer but its already profiled by Pauly and if i let go of the bolt
  3. here ya go http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/33836-modification-to-repair-fte-issues-on-saigas-with-blocked-gas-ports/page__p__301796__hl__+gas%20+block%20+removal__fromsearch__1#entry301796 imo this should be stickied
  4. i removed the gas block with my press but i hear some can do it with a hammer but a press is so much easier. after its removed i just used a hand file to make sure the other 2 ports wouldnt be covered
  5. looks almost like an oddly long schrader valve
  6. yea im hoping the booster puck will work but when you have done so much to a weapon to make it work i can only expect the booster puck not to work lol
  7. well ive had my s12 for a long time now and its had a long history of cycling problems but i refuse to give up! my s12 is an 2008 model and it is in fact one of the infamous Ivan Specials. when i first got the gun it would pretty much FTE every round with some remington bulk load i had, first thing i did when i got home is find this forum and research it. well i looked at my gun and found that it had one port... so i removed the gasblock and found 2 other ports that were covered so what i did was the D mod to the gas block and enlarged the 3 ports with a 3/32 drill bit
  8. missed it i didnt know there was a new episode
  9. i keep throwing my money at CSS and getting parts back i cant stop..... They are the best of the best at what he does
  10. in the 5.45 i converted for a friend it needed nothing, the military mags fit with no mods and it cycles 5.45 with out a bullet guide no problems
  11. happened to my on my 1911 first time i took it apart, i took the safety off and the spring flew out but i found it fast. bad one was when i was changing the clutch on my car there is this wire spring that holds the throw out bearing to the lever and it went flying when i tried to remove it. well spend 3 hours looking and gave up i tried looking for the piece online and its no where to be found.... had a friend come over and he spotted it in less then 5 min....... anyway its always good to have someone help you sometimes they see things you cant.
  12. have you ever considered 5.45x39? it has light recoil like .223 but is much more deadly. it will also be pretty accurate out to 600 yards and is cheap to shoot when your just target practicing. Adam Arms makes a good 5.45 upper and the rounds fit in standard .223 ar mags but require the follower to be changed to be reliable. or for a lot less a Saiga 5.45
  13. i have the same set up i got in a clearance bin at a gun show for $9 not sure where it came from since it has no markings but its the same exact color and shape, although i do find sand in the handgaurd and other small places maybe mine was brought back by a soldier in the middle east cause its really fine sand
  14. nice congrats guys now ima have to go out and buy the auto plug
  15. Ever fired a Glock with a slipping reset spring? FA all out in one trigger pull and that is hard to handle. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying. that isnt an accessory its a part of the FCG
  16. let me save you the trouble.. I have read a million posts like these on this forum and others..\ FIVE SHOTS and it was in pieces.. Ok you can calm down bro.....i wanted to see for myself. I agree with you about the optics but when it comes to the ladders, clips, grippod, and MBUS i dont see the difference. Ive compared real to clone and with those they seem to be the same quality for a fraction of the cost. well when the airsoft "grippod" decides to take a shit while you are shooting your S12... and you lose control of the weapon and randomly spray off an extra 4
  17. best one was when i walked by and old man with my s12 and he said "JESUS!" lol
  18. the factory trigger wont work and you can reuse the guard. all you need is any AK FCG and it will work.
  19. as for my s12 i have a Chaos Quad rail but the only thing on it is a VFG and the HK style sights... i like the look and the sights are way superior to the factory irons. none of my other weapons have rails except for my 10/22 has the favtory weaver rails for my scope. i used to slap a surefire flashlight to my s12 for HD but as ive spent a shit ton of time and money in the gun i decided to remove it from HD duty and bought a used Mossberg 500 for $200 to do the job. point is if i ever have to use a weapon in HD i will lose it for atleast 3 years for evidence and i may never get it back id
