    Had a cat who liked to jump on the table. Did it once while I was sitting there crushing hot peppers from the garden, go figure the cat got curious, so i like my finger dipped it in the peppers and gave her a drag over the tongue. Cat was rolling on the floor making some god awful noise and frothing from the mouth so bad I thought I gave it rabies. never saw it on the table again... or at all for like 2 weeks.

    As for the hand guard not sure, made for a rifle but if it has enough material to remove might work, its yours so make it so you like it. Might wanna get some plugs for the holes above the PG, and that front sight looks like it has a bubblegum weld on it (could be wrong) might want to blend that better,that's all that sticks out to me. Also look into CSS steel 8 rounders, love mine.

    I live in ohio one county away from the hi point headquarters, the pistols suck major salty balls, for every reason gunfun mentioned.     got a wood shelf along the wall in the basement half filled with canning stuff and random boxes of ammo and stray gun parts keep some mags in a larger ammo can and got 2 wood crates from surplus ammo I keep some random bits in. I'm unorganized but guns go in the gun safe and ammo in the ammo cans, everything else go wherever I find room

    website shows $800 for base and $1,300 for the "pack" with all 3 caliber setups so not so much the $500 deal but still a better deal unless you have to have the AK style 9
