I fully agree with AK monty, I have read reports where LEOs have shot crack heads with a .380 back up gun and it only pissed them off at the moment! Some of these modern drugs make these dirt bags feel like superman, eventually they will feel the pain but it may be too late for you or the wife!

They may just suprise everyone, I have seen how delrin lasts MUCH longer than steel or brass as a splined sleeve in variable speed pulleys used in milling machines. It seems that the flex that the plastic has allows it to take a LOT more abuse than the metals when starting and stoping a lot or even worse reversing the motor when tapping. I have seen the pulleys with metals sleeves fail in as little as 6 months where the delrin lasts for many years (approximately 5-10) even under heavy use and abuse!

After looking over that list it appears that they will spend an ENORMOUS amount of resources and TAX DOLLARS running around in circles chasing their tails. I have a small machine shop where I make motorcycle parts for a side line, as much as I like making parts for my bike and other projects, Making parts for sale is work. I want to buy some extended mags for my COlt 1991 A1 and there are not a lot of them available. I found some Pro Mag 10 rounders but I know Promag ahas a scketchy reputation. So any one used the 10 rounders in a Colt, any suggestions. Yes I know I should probably just buy a Glock or a Springfield armory high capacity .45 ACP but I like my Colt and I am used to shooting it.

Hail damage is a major PITA to repair, a friend of mine who owns a body shop told me he hates to work on them. Most insurance companys will not pay to replace the body panels so the shop has to fill every spot with bondo. So it would be expensive to repair the damage, if you dont intend to repair it it will probably be O.K. though you could get some paint peeling in and around the spots.

Keep in mind that the right side folders look good and with the stock folded on that side you can tuck the weapon closer to your body. BUT other than the polish style folder all of them block the safety and charging handle making operation a PITA! So for ease of operation that leaves you with a left side folder which covers the sight rail on that side. The only "gun show loop hole" is that private individuals carry guns in for sale, so there is a shred of truth to their lie. When I was growing up there was old Indian guy called Joe that lived a few miles down river. I used to go down and sit on the pier and listen to his stories, and he had a "friend" that would come once and a while ( a bobcat) to get a fish. Maybe you can use some high speed photography to see what kind of flexing and distortion the plastic version goes through while firing.
