    I've never understood how ANY militarily-used object could be allowed to be made outside this country, from scratch. Its ridiculous. If any country supplies any part, if (and when, given Mao's record) we go to war with them, we no longer have our supplies. Its just f-in ridiculously moronic, but what do you expect from our government, and its magnified stupidity under Mao.

    Still low here, but if you know when the delivery comes and show up within a day or two, you will usually be able to find what you want; so it's improved over the past few months. Prices are better online though, even with shipping. Meantime, I am saving up for a big ass splurge on a barrel of .22lr.

    Nice story AA, thanks for sharing. I have my 5-gallon bucket and bag and toilet seat to fit the top (used for boating), when traveling. I have no qualms about parking anywhere to go, with my IBS its a given that it will happen occasionally, so I dont worry about public toilet availability. Just run into the nearby woods and go, and pack it out. Never been bothered by a cop, but if I am, I cannot see him doing anything but laughing at me when I walk out with my bucket, bag, and seat cover. I figure its dangerous to drive distracted, so I am doing a public service.

    I think the problem is the mentality of anyone who isn't already in the upper middle or upper class. They have to exert their authority, because its all they have. I have had a few run ins with school bus drivers, where I did nothing illegal, but they seemed to think I have done something to give them more priority, or something. They then threatened to call the police (twice) and took down my plate number (once). I told them to call away, and offered to wait for the police. Interestingly, when called, in each case they dropped the issue and move on. I guess its hard when you arent in

    The good thing is that word is getting out. Police don't have to, and should never be counted on, protecting YOU.

    ^^ I believe this is part of the deal made when Reid made the deal NOT to break the senate rules, illegally. I wrote my senators, though its pretty useless with these guys. They run under the mantra: "whatever Remek wants, vote against it!"

    Makes me think. I have had reason to help dad review his finances, but I want him to keep independent for his own happiness. I think it helps give another reason to live. I do worry he has been ripped off a few times.
