Gun Safety and what not to do...

Why in the hell would you rest the end of the barrel on your foot? -
Ouch! That's gonna leave a mark!
-
Just let us know when you're ready Cobra, we'll wait.

Headarmorer has it right. The republican party has been asking itself why it's getting spanked. IMO the reason is that they have a serious "with us or against us" attitude. They are being exclusionary of anyone who deviates the slightest from their hardcore "god, guns & gays" positions. Their "the sky is falling" mantra is because the world is indeed changing, and instead of making the change work for them they just work harder excluding themselves. I'm a perfect example. I love my guns obviously and am VERY pro 2nd Admin. I think we should lock the freaking borders do

Glad it was just a "scare" !!!!!! Hope everything is OK. -
I've got about 15 of them and they have worked great for me. I just drop them when doing 3gun or training and they have held up well.

12ga ballistics article leaves me questioning shotgun practicality

^^ This ^^ Different tools for different jobs. For SHTF grab the rifle. For assault in and around the base grab the S12. -
It attaches using the rear recoil spring trunnion slot. It should be stable (?) The thing I don't like is look at the gaps and edges where the sight base attaches to the new dust cover. It just doesn't look finished and the last thing the AK needs is more sharp edges to snag shit and cut up your hands during serious training drills. I had very high hopes I guess, their other sights look well made and smoothly integrated. Just my .02..

That's a sweet S12! Anyway, I think the mid barrel comps are great for competitions, but for a fighting gun I'm not sure the increased blast back at the shooter, or at your partner is a good trade off. So it depends on what your gun is for. I'm planning a SBS now, but I'm going to put my polychoke back on it to help compensate for the shorter barrel. On the recoil side of things, I've got some plans for a recoil reducing stock.

That's a really nice boom stick you have there! Alas, I am FALless.

What kind of accuracy are you getting from your Saiga 308?

I forgive you. For whatever the hell it was you did. -
I've had my order in with Power Custom for about two weeks now. I haven't heard anything yet. Damn, I hate waiting for parts. But it is what it is.

I have a rail now obviously, but the "new" ones will be available with the rear peep. It is my understanding that they are about ready to be released.
-
No need to worry Paladin. If you decide to get the rear peep we'll cut the slot for you at no charge. You just need to send me the rail so we can cut the slot and fit the peep. Thanks!, I'm definitely interested in the rear peep. Let me know when it's ready. There you go, customer service is included with the rail. I've already stated this earlier in this thread, but I have mounted the rail on two of my guns, a X39 and the .308. It adjusts to accommodate receiver variances and has returned to zero with repeated latching and unlatchings. Not the most scientific, but I mou

We might have to get a road trip together to Ole' Miss and camp out on his door step until he coughs it up.
-
Dude, you don't have a .308 yet? To be a full fledged member of the club you have to have a Saiga in 12ga, one in X39, and one in .308.
