  1. btw try looking here: http://www.mdarms.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=1714 2885 is the last processed order.
  2. I can't wait for my drum. the aluma hyde 2 should be fully cured by the time I get my drum.
  3. DNR is the same here too. I hope your saiga is converted, and that sounds like it may be a fun class
  4. I just show as deposit recieved, but he added the plug to my order. So hopefully soon!
  5. +1 ouch It leaves a mark just shooting 7.62x39...
  6. +1 mags I had planned on only getting a few mags due to the price... I have about $400 in mags and a $230 drum on the way.
  7. The stuff runs great in my 870, and mostly runs in my S12, I don't have cycle issues to bad, but the rim on the hulls do get stuck on my ejector sometimes, and i do have a FTF sometimes, it seems that the plastic is just soft and it will deform easy. I switched to the federal stuff for cheap blasting, it seems to run better.
  8. I'm in the 4500 range, no charge yet
  9. w00t! I can't wait I ordered my drum somewhere around dec 9th, added the plug to my order as soon as I got the email suggesting the plug... maybe two more weeks wait?
  10. Not a bad idea to blast it. I used brownells alumahyde 2 on mine, I decided the factory paint seemed to be good enough to allow me to paint over the top, so I did.. so far so good, and it seems to be sticking very well, but the stuff takes a very long time to dry. I think I have another week or so before it's fully cured.
  11. I'm a little worried about modding my mags for it, but it does look good. Does it give any reinforcment to the mags, hopefully to help prevent breakage? (trying to find a good reason for it )
  12. I ordered my 2nd run drum near the first part of Dec, I knew I would have to wait, when I saw the gas plugs were made avail, I put in an order and asked that it be included with my order # for the drum so they ship at the same time, again I'm going to wait and not complain. As the date gets closer, I check my CC every few days to see if I was charged for it yet knowing when the charge comes through for the second half and the plug the time will be close!
  13. I want atleast one.. just not from that gunbroker asshat. Look a DPMS M16/AR15 lower for $195 http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=122278543 Someone should let him know the difference and how one cannot be the other... And I thought I over paid for the Armalite lower the other day @ $150...
  14. Boy that is one prehistoric looking antelope
  15. It was a russian 91/30, nothing special, I paid about $89 for it... When they gave me the total I damn near let them keep it... the barrel looked like a sewer pipe so I wanted them to do a headspace check on it, as they have a nice collection of FA PKMs that use the same round... Needless to say they lost some business from me... but the time I spent behind the trigger of one of their PKMs and other FA guns free of charge I just paid it out trying to hold a smile... I never have shot the thing, it's to long to fit into the safe so it site in the corner of my closet...
  16. I think it was a good question; something I was wondering also.
  17. How hard is it to load a S12 with a mag lock? I would get one just cuz if I lived in cali, but I would rather get a nice auto tube fed shotgun with restrictive laws.
  18. It's easy to do, the hardest part is getting the rivets out. Most gun smiths only do cleaning and basic repairs, some of the better setups can duracoat. I'm still looking for a local guy that is setup for adding a scope/drill and tap setup to a vintage early 40's erloom .22 rifle and re blue. I may have to look at shipping.. although I'm not sure how that will work; back in the 40's remington did not put serials on their .22's just proof marks... FBMG here just got setup and are now offering saiga conversions, and duracoat. I'm still a little mad at them for chargine me $10
  19. They really did not sell compared to the black AGP mags, once the black mags ran out the clear went pretty fast. That's when I bought my clear too, but now that I have the clear I think they are kinda ugly but I like them. I think smoke would sell better IMO, but they are cool.
  20. +1 AGP gets my vote I have one surefire, it's nice but it does not seem as heafty as the AGP, and I like the steel feed lips on the AGP mags. Promag... I'll buy one if it's under $30, and if they work well, I'll buy a few more. I think they would make great drop/toss mags for 3gun. But promag is promag...
  21. damnit! Atleast I have two if the clear. I wish they would make them in smoke.
  22. Well with an AK/S12 it has enough recoil to help out with the trigger pulls. I can do a good three round burst with my finger and while holding it normal and on target with an AR, it's a lot eaiser with an AK or S12 but harder to stay on target. Practice your double taps then start working on three then four... with my AR if I do it to fast I can pull the trigger faster than it can cycle, I have to get a rhythm going then I can time it perfect. And I had a guy that thought I had a FA AR until I let him have a go with my rifle, it's a lot more fun when you can stay on target. I
  23. thats kuz I was suggesting the Bushnell over the other one...
  24. Not nearly enough... 2 AGP clear 6 AGP black 1 surefire 1 MD20 on order
