Is it to late to get the Russian parts from Oleg or any other place? Do you guys think a surefire magwell would work with the LRBHO
-
how did I miss that? I would love to have a kit even without a barrel and magwell. What was option 1,2,3 and the cost?

The ad is up as WTS/WTT. If you just want to trade edit it to say WTT. -
Hitting the range in the am to give mine a try.

I'm not so sure there's a problem. Yes, they are vastly different rounds, but the post was concerning weight and handling, not ballistic performance. I'm talking about different models of firearms, not ballistic weights. A VZ58 is not an AK-47 is not an AK-74, in my view, that's all.The thread is titled 'the lightest AK-74.' And a 5.45x39 round is lighter then a 7.62x39 round

If it is a take off I would say with out hinge mechanism. And it is not in the pic. And it is 80.00 -
Yes. We did have to adjust the plug to function with the reduced recoil spring and low brass shells. The Auto Plug wouldn't function reliably with the low brass shells and the factory front spring no matter how much adjusting we did. Videos are coming... That sucks I shoot bulkpack lowbrass 90% of the time. I thought it would be great as long as it worked with lowbrass and didn't give too much gas if I shot a slug or two. if it will not work well with lowbrass it is no good to me.

I have the receiver ak grip, the newer one for aks not the Ar grip and adapter. http://store.carolinashooterssupply.com/servlet/-strse-292/Hogue-AK47-Saiga-monogrip/Detail

Yes it will just use the nut that is already on the inside. I have one mine and like it a lot over the saw grip
-
S/n has to be 1/16" you name can be smaller if you want all must be a least 0.003" deep. I would just use the s/n on the receiver and add your info
-
If you are doing a form 1 you will be the manufacturer. Use the # on the receiver not the one on the kit. But you could pick or add any number if you wanted but then that's just more to engrave on the gun. You will need to engrave your name, trust name, or Corp name on the gun. Also the city and state. Like... Bob white Houston, TX needs to be at least .003 deep

Mine will not feed shells after the third time I used it I have not called pro mag about it yet.

I've tried many front recoil springs. A stronger spring resists cycling more. I used to use one of those before I ported the barrel. Now I use a CSS lighter power recoil spring which makes the action travel easier... I know I should open the gas ports, and will likely end up doing that so I can use the auto gas plug on this gun. Yes a stronger spring on the recoil rod assembly does in fact add resistance to the bolt carrier as it travels rearward, but for the plug, it is a different principal. A stronger spring in the plug will keep more resistance on the internal gas valve (the
