  1. Ok lets set the record straight: $ 5800 was paid on the 7th april based on the fact that two competition guns could be build in 5 weeks. The guns had to be shipped ONLY by Continental Airlines as they currently are the only way to get guns to the UK & all this was explained prior to paying & agreed. Indeed all shipping was also paid upfront as part of the total. I needed the two guns here in the Uk by start of July for use in a series of Europen Tournaments ( 6 ) each had to be pre paid in entry fee & airline tickets & accomodation .. So dispite several promises that the guns
  2. Once you get a date , im booking the flights for a small group of Brit shooters................... need to borrow /rent guns ,but have CASH & will need a stack of ammo !
  3. http://www.kopelakis.com are the dealers in Greece. You need to check your local gun laws as sevral EU country's barrel lengths differ , think its 21" in Greece & Germany,24" in the Uk , 19" in some others ! Also note if you intend to compete in any practical ( ipsc ) shotgun matches you will not be able to take any gun into a country where their local law prohibits barrels that are to short .
  4. Here's the link = http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/firearms_saiga12.htm Your pictures show the Spet 3 but with the cheaper basic stock. I can only comment on Tournament use iv seen , the Vepr 12 is based on the RPK rather than the AK & seems a nicer build/fit/finish also has extended safety & better grip. The current world champion ( German ) use's one.But as with all guns outside the USA the price is high near $ 2000 with two mags. drive to Russia ............. saiga's EXP 01 are $ 700 , Vepr's $ 900.
  5. www.rusmilitary.com They sell that model as the spetsnaz 3 for £ 999 ( $ 1698 ) or Euro's E 1284 .......... to f**ing expensive. Uk model stock is fix & barrels are 24".Think you can have shorter in Portugal. The German importers www.waffenschumacher.com are a lot cheaper & also carry the much better Vepr 12. Im sure they export to any Dealer in your Country. Good luck with your purchase , hope to see you at some European Tournaments ??
  6. Posted this over in the Tromix section but did not get an answer ................ Iv got a factory pistol grip saiga 12K ( legal here in the Uk ) with a welded open factory stock & would like to fit a Tromix stock, i understand that all/most of the fixing blocks are designed for the American converted saigas & so unsuitable for what just seems an AK receiver ?? Cobra or any one any ideas ?
  7. Thanks a lot for posting the picture & the links.
  8. Could any one post a picture of a Saiga 12 bolt thats been worked on to allow a reload on a closed bolt ?? Thanks a lot.
  9. Wanted 3 agp saiga 12 mags ( gen 2 ) new or used ......... to send to UK , you may need to dis assemble to post ! Will advise best shipping method
  10. Yeah kinda ironic that everybody here wants what you have, and you want what anybody here can get. It's a crazy world. Hey Bob if you think thats strange .............. over here competitors are cutting off magwells to gain the 2 extra rounds using the Agp mags over the factory 8's, & were not allowed folding stocks ( welded open ) & barrels have to be 24".
  11. Just got a factory pistol grip saiga 12K ( legal here in the Uk ) & would like to remove the stock & replace with a Tromix one, what parts are required ?? Thanks.
  12. Im looking to fly over for the next one with a small group of fellow trigger happy Brits.
  13. A number of us "down south" Christchurch/Romsey/Aldershot - all Hampshire clubs. Still way over priced in the UK , several of us have tried the import way from USA builders as the standard models are not "out of the box " ready .................. i speak from regular competion use !
  14. thats the mutt's nut's. what brand/where from - is the extended mag release ?? how do you find the Docter sight ? good luck at the comp.
  15. First off before any one jumps on my case .............. I beleive that E-tac produce some of the best conversions , however my view is his customer service is lacking. My order was placed on 7th April for two full conversions paid in full, quoted delivery time was 5-6 weeks. Now maybe i should have known better but its now 22 weeks later.I have a number of one line emails from him stating "completion next week " spread over the whole period. Now this may seem ok to those of you who are used to waiting extended times but i bought these guns on the understanding that they would be ready for my
  16. Yes im flying over for that one , Esteban over at Etac is sponsoring the UK Team .................
  17. Saiga-SPETSNAZ-3 thats the model from the show. www.rusmilitary.com have them listed at a bargain price in the UK of 999 pounds thats about $ 1900 !! Just compared it side by side to a Vepr 12 , looks like that model saiga has some of the enhanced Vepr parts fitted. I know saiga own both factorys.
  18. YOUR KNIFE AND YOU Despite what you may have been led to believe, our knife laws are amongst the most sensible in the modern World. In Great Britain we benefit from laws which promote the sensible use and collecting of fine cutlery, yet discourage those who seek to abuse what are, in effect, artistic, well engineered tools. In short, be aware of the following points, although please read the linked articles for more in-depth information ... What You Can't Have ... The following items are banned from sale within the UK (although if you already own one you may keep it, but not use it
  19. The price in Germany is the same as the uk : $ 1800 Swat 12 .......... you then need " magwell special mags " at $ 160 each ! $ 1400 Will buy you a standard saiga with no magwell but a pistol grip & it takes Apg mags. So apart from the pistol grip its the same gun your paying $500 allready for . The VEPR 12 is very popular in Europe but they are $ 2000 each.
  20. The above home made chest rig allows a very quick reload on 1-2 rounds , & its this idea i want to carry over to a Saiga 12 rig. It will hold 6 mags upright facing forward each held by sprung C clips , with enough room behind each mag to get your thumb behind , simply grab , push out & up for a fast reload . For those shooting tube's still watch this reload ...... im sure a mag with practice could be quicker !! http://www.spitsheuvel.nl/patrick/adrie6rounds6targets.mpg
  21. Before ordering online, does any one know if chest rigs like this Blackhawk strike with a built in row of open top mag pouches, will accept a saiga 12 mag ?? Cant find one over here in the Uk to look at first & there half price in the US.I know their designed for M16/Ar mags, but seems a good way to reload fast. Thanks a lot.
