Cobra 76 two 2,677
Here's a shot of me firing a friend's 44 Mag last weekend. I loved the pistol and it was very accurate but the BSA red dot didn't hold up long. The front lens cracked after about 24 shots.

MD_Willington 11
I like the S&W 29... One of my Dr's (yep a female Dr) Husband has one... Impressive firearm.
SuAside 2
the first revolver i ever shot was a .44 Mag S&W ("Dirty Harry" ) loaded with hunting ammo. was quite the kicker, but great fun. in the end the recoil of the (overloaded) ammo was actually quite managable. also awesome accuracy potential on those guns. Twinsen 86
I keep hearing of people complaining about the recoil of .44 magnum, where as I don't think it's bad at all, considering how heavy .44 mag revolvers are.

Man, I need to take my .44 Magnum out. I have a Ruger RedHawk but I haven't shot it in quite a while. Heck, I haven't shot anything in quite a while...

THE_HUNTER 2
.44's will pretty much do everything. If it can't kill it, you need to leave the woods!

That sounds like some brisk recoil there... I did get to take my Redhawk down to the range. Great fun, the range officer came walking up to me when I was leaving and asked me what I was shooting. He said when I opened up with it and some DoubleTap ammo, the ret of the people stopped firing just to figure out what was going on!

THE_HUNTER 2
Amen! In an indoor range it sounds like the place will come apart! Way cool! Of course, I am speaking as the guy who has been known to shoot 3" mag 12gauge slugs in an indoor range That sure turns heads!
