Even the cops don't understand that right any longer. To be pulled simply for a bumper sticker? I would be willing to bet there would be hell to pay if somebody got pulled and detained simply over a "communism=good" bumper sticker or something like that. there is a "war" against conservatives now that obama is in the White House. They do NOT plan to give up control now that they have it back. And if that means doing stuff like this, so be it. C) The horrible state of our GOVERNMENT educated kids is helping to make this happen. In many schools, they have simply stopped teaching about the history of this country, and how/why it was created. "just not enough time" some say. It's getting pretty bad, much faster than I would have though it would. No telling what would have happened if this guy belonged to other groups or had "lots" of guns. Jail I'm sure, confiscated his guns etc.... until HE can "prove" he isn't a "danger" to the community maybe??? He should sue the shit out of everybody he can. I tried to tell him that it was illegal unless martial law was declared, but he didn't want to hear it. Some co-workers feel the same way. One even told me last night on the phone that the dems "just want the Uzis and Machine guns, nobody needs them for hunting". And this guy was in the military for a time! It is simply unbelievable. By the way, the coworker/military dude admits freely he is a dem., and told me that it's good "the economy is coming back so quickly" since it wasn't supposed to rebound until 2011. It was a goat that was standing upwright on it's back two legs taking a leak on the word America. In my high school history classes, we spent over 2 months straight in each class learning about the indians and the slave trade. at no point in high school did we learn about WW1, WW2, the civil war, late 1800's immigrations, or contemporary history here in NJ. Same in Virginia, graduated high school in 95. History for me didn't include any of the 20th century, go figure. Think WW2 was a paragraph or two, Vietnam wasn't even covered. About all we did cover was slavery and the civil war, etc... I honestly believe, I learned absolutely nothing in school. Nothing, was all a popularity contest anyway. Public Education has and always will be a joke in this Country. Only bigger joke, is a college or Ivy League education, or should I say assimilation. Love it, 20 years ago people would get out of college, and have to work as waiters for a year or two or more before finding jobs in their given fields. And as far as I remember, that was kind of expected. There have never been enough jobs for all these elitist types coming out of college that think they deserve to have everything handed to them because mommy and daddy paid for their education. Altho look at today, those college kids who think they're entitled to $100,000 a year jobs because they went to Columbia University or something like that, are all crying to Obama. And you know what, watch him pander to these people like never before. Hard work gets you ahead, and gets you what you want, that has never changed. Only thing that has changed are the countless mommas boys we've raised for a few generations now that are too good to do hard work. Everyone could resite the constitution and most historical dates and events at a whim. Yep, thats when we did square roots in our heads without a calculator. Sadly, my children are not recieving the same education. Nothing about WWI, WWII, or our fight against communism. My youngest son's history teacher just spent a whole week teaching about the struggles Jackey Robinson in white society - yes, in a history class. He knows all about how our founding fathers were a bunch of slave owning racists. Most of his science class material revolves around climate change. Martial law is still not a good enough reason for gun confiscation. There is no good enough reason. The neighbors to my right are libs, Obama bumber stickers and all.... my 18 year old son calls me at work all glib and tells me that he stuck a "Obama=Scocialism" bumper sticker over the neighbors Obama sticker. And, don't worry about GETTING on the list, you can damn near rest assured that you are on it, just for being a member of this board, let alone spouting any rhetoric to garner more attention. My suggestion is to find like parental minds in your district/parish and raise your concerns at the next PTA meeting. Put someone up for the next school board election. get involved. The only difference you can make is a positive one. The hard part is fighting through the seeming lack of progress in the beginning. My district went through this positive traditionalist change right before I got to HS. You bet I learned WWI, WWII, Revolution, Constitution, Bill of Rights, Dec of Ind. French and Indian War, Spanish American War and about that generations Ron Paul i.e. Teddy Roosevelt. The Alamo, Patton and McArthurs ideas for fighting communism. etc.... Stay positive and fight the good fight. We and our fellow freedom loving citizens hold the moral high ground. As long as we don't abandon it or lose heart I believe we will win. (and yes we were listed as subversives) In the states where we could the Southern Party was chartered as a political party..In states like mine we were a PAC. Our primary goal at that time was to get SP members elected at the very basic level of local government..Community offices first. Mayors, city council, whatever. Then County offices..Building a power base.. but in the mean time working for fundamental changes in education at the local level. Demanding that the REAL history of the War of Invasion was taught..not the fairy tale kids get today. Our position was..Where in the Constitution does it say the feds have the right to tell us how to educate our children? Our belief was..and still is..that government doesnt begin in Washington..It begins in our little town..your little town...And works its way up. During that period..someone asked me once.."What if the majority of people in your town or county are black..and want black history taught?"..I said.."Thats as it should be..as long as they realize THEY will be the ones paying for it...Why should the parents of kids in California pay for how my kids are educated?
