therealjarett 1
I've seen some crazy rounds for sale online in 7.62x39 and all other calibers, which ones would be the best to stock up on?
Reverendfranz 160
tracers can be usefull as end-of-mag markers, otherwise, id recomend stocking up on good grenade launching blanks. AFIK they arent making any more of them.
SELFDEFENSE 2
What? No thermo-nuclear 12 ga.?
mgconnor13 206
12 gauge taser isn't on the list
scoutjoe 276
Uh... whatca doing with them? That usually determines "best"
Azrial 1,091
What? Nothing in the in the 40 Megawatt range?
scoutjoe 276
What? Nothing in the in the 40 Megawatt range? Dude...you keep telling people about those things I'm never going to be able to find ammo for mine... sheesh
RobRez 1,895
I went "explosive inciendiary" the ability to set shit on fire from 200 yards is just too cool!
mollysman420 19
I would vote for the ones that go BANG and send a projectile down range.
scattergunner 12
anyone know where to obtain info on making tracers and incendiary slugs??? all i can find is some kid showing how to do it half assed with .177 pellets. i can probably safely figure it out but it is always nice to have a guideline as well as to know the do's and donts
Nailbomb 10,221
I voted rubber rounds cuz you can bounce them off walls and around corners.
Nailbomb 10,221
I mean check this guy out! this should obviously tell you what to get.
beefcakeb99 572
NECRO POLL!
IndyArms 10,186
648 GRAINS of armor peircing incendiary goodness! Propelled by a modest 220 grains of WC860. Couple that with a CCI35 primer and free brass... each round cost me less than 60 cents per round! Hell... that's cheaper than some of my .308 ammo. Mind you this is just "plinking" ammo... so its all good. I could stick 750 grain Hornady AMAX's in them if I really wanted to turn money into noise in a hurry. LOL! IndyArms 10,186
And this is what we run them through... and WHERE... LOL The first is when I got it before I mounted the optic... side by side with a 20" barreled AR15 for size comparison... And at the range...
Scott Kenny 144
Indy, that artillery piece you call a rifle makes my shoulder hurt just looking at it! Doesn't mean I don't want to put a few rounds through it, though!
IndyArms 10,186
I actually took it to a different local range today ... set up a target at 200 yards... I could have gone all the way out to 500 but it was a nice enough walk back and forth at 2! Shot about a 4" group with the plinker ammo. And all shots in the silhouette body. I had a bunch of different stuff to run through it so it was more a play time than a serious shooting session. There were two younger guys there I let run a round each through it... that totally made their day!
1mile50 102
What? No thermo-nuclear 12 ga.? No, but here is a video of the NUKE 50. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8927728783445897510
ewoketeer 35
12 gauge taser isn't on the list Go to the Taser site, Or just Google XREP As far as which is the best, if depends what you want to do with it (don't use varmint type slugs on dangerous game!).
