Eric Pate 478
FYI, these are apparently being produced now. Leland @ SOC said he saw a whole wall of them at SHOT. I'll still pass.
MrBoomstick 16
Lets see AA, um yea i see this a one hell of an expensive door stop or prop rod to hold you cars flopy trunk lid open if little hydrolic strut things fail.
SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
I don't care for that swing out dust cover at all. I'll stick with my MKA. the MKA is the only mag fed shotgun that shoots 3" shells also.
lbsrdi 1,078
I think you may have misspoke. My S12 shoots 3". http://youtu.be/iowylsO3ScU Edited January 21, 2014 by K.o.t.H.
SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
my brother has a S12 and it only takes 2 3/4. Have you modified yours?
lbsrdi 1,078
Huh, I've never heard of that. No mine has not been modified. Try loading some 3" in his gun with a stick mag. Edited January 21, 2014 by K.o.t.H.
SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
Maybe that was it. are there dedicated mags for just the 3" shells.
lbsrdi 1,078
As far as I know all mags take 3" and the US drums do not....yet..... http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?/topic/92452-update-on-the-chaos-steel-10-round-mini-drum-for-the-saiga-12/ Edited January 21, 2014 by K.o.t.H. SHOTGUN MESIAH 855
thats good to know, I thought it kind of weird that they would only shoot 2 3/4" I'll have to tell dumbass to try and load some 3" in there.
EthanM 514
Yeah I shoot 3 inch quite a bit. They work just fine.

fast2gnt 16
A turd is still a turd no matter how much you polish it. Had my hands on it at shot show. I'll stick with my saiga.

psl sniper 963
my brother has a S12 and it only takes 2 3/4. Have you modified yours? Smack your brother upside the head. The drum only takes 2 3/4 buth the stick mags take 3".
Hornsj2 27
I prefer the Saiga, hands down, but if you want something like the Origin I'd look at the UTS-15. Like I said, I wouldn't buy the UTS-15, but I'd buy it over the Origin. No small part has to do with that feud between Mike at MDArms and those guys at Alliance Armament. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2013/10/foghorn/gun-review-utas-uts-15-shotgun/
XD45 7,124
Here it is! The absolute most tacticoolest shotgun in history! I just threw up a little.
gunfun 3,931
Better drill its gas ports at 90* through the front sight!
gunfun 3,931
Fluted barrel? So they made it thicker for no reason then. Also it takes 3 turns with a tool to change gas settings? I thought that it was supposed to be self adjusting... They could have included an autoplug and sold it out of the box. Edited April 30, 2015 by GunFun
JDeko 792
Awwww, I actually liked the metal stock that mentally challenged knob had on the gun in question in that first video since I hope to do as much to my S12 when I have the free funds. Now its got some generic AR15 plastick bullshit stock so it looks like NERF gun from barrel to stock.
gunfun 3,931
Make the stock you want. Or sketch it out and bring the sketch to a metal fabrication shop. It shouldn't cost much to weld up a stock that fits ACE pattern.
JDeko 792
It'd cost less to get it from a fabrication shop than one off Carolina Shooter Supply?
gunfun 3,931
Probably not. It sounded like you wanted something unique. The DPH stock is pretty cool, imo. They all need a good recoil pad though.
JDeko 792
Yeah, its that with the mount you need for the metal stocks it takes one up to 100 dollars. I'm tempted to get the one that Rhineland sells since it looks pretty neat and has a wood cheek rest too, plus it fits the receiver without a new block and whatnot. TBH that's what the first stock on the origin looked like to me
JoeAK 337
Fluted barrel? So they made it thicker for no reason then. Also it takes 3 turns with a tool to change gas settings? I thought that it was supposed to be self adjusting... They could have included an autoplug and sold it out of the box. I was thinking the exact same thing on the barrel, there't not enough meat on a 12 ga. barrel to take fluting normally. Also, notice the nice ugly welds holding the rear trunnion on? According to the video, this POS doesn't even take 3" shells. They've taken a Saiga-12, put a couple nice features on it, and made almost everything else worse.
JDeko 792
I also like that they show how you can use it for drive-bys and/or kill your loved ones through the wall. That's more a comment on that portly ginger fellow for setting up a test that serves only negative consequences.
